Large, clean, comfortable bed. Excellent air conditioning. Plenty of surfaces to put luggage, etc. on. Fougeres has some fantastic, historic buildings which are well worth exploring.
A 40 minutes (in the heat) walk into the centre. Not at all scenic, until you get right into the heart of the town.

The Ibis is a good choice if you are looking for a budget stay in a hotel that is clean with basic facilities. The room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was sufficient. There was plenty of parking available.
It was a good 40 minute walk to the centre but manageable. It seems to be a common issue in European hotels that there is no hotel bar of food available on a Sunday evening. A strange concept when you come from Ireland.
