Disappointed. Way too hot in room.

Didn’t have breakfast.

The reason for all low scores. The Air conditioning was off in the hotel. Not broken just off we were told. Also I was accosted several times by what I would describe as migrant staying in the hotel. Both of which seemed mentally unstable. I believe this migrant issue was related to the AC being off. The room was unbearably hot which ruined my stay.

It suited requirements for this holiday

The breakfast could possibly have offered a little more variety in the cereals that were available e.g. it would have been nice for muesli to have been included but overall was good. The location was in a residential area on the edge of Pontivy, beside a small, newly built shopping centre approximately 20 minutes walk to the town.

I would say that the room was a little cramped for two people if more time was being spent at the hotel & also lacked storage space for clothes. However, as I & my colleague were attending a cycling event in a nearby town & were out for most of the daytime, this was not an issue.

The rooms in this Ibis are smaller than other Ibis. I'm not a fan of the toilet space which I have commented on before.

Our last multi-night stay at an IBIS Budget ... because of the toilet.

A typical IBIS Budget hotel - nothing wrong. You get what you pay for every time. The room was small but clean, staff were great, especially the house-keeper. BUT, spending more than one night in a IBIS Budget has become impossible for us & this was our last multi-night stay in the chain of hotels. The 70x95cm toilet with crepi on the walls, just to add to the torture chamber feel, has just become impossible to put up with - grazed knees & elbows for the trip home..

I hated the 70x95cm toilet box (kitty litter) with crepi on the wall ... torturous.
