The staff were extremely friendly. On arrival we found that the room we were given had already been taken in a clerical error, when I explained this the staff on the front desk were quick to find another room and also sent a bottle of wine and snacks to our room as an apology.
The room was small and the bathroom in the room was tiny - but that is to be expected in older buildings. The bed and pillows weren't the most comfortable.
The breakfast was buffet style with plenty of options, but it wasn't prepared on-site so didn't feel fresh.

Absolutely fabulous location, the most friendly helpful staff and a wonderful breakfast! Hotel bar is excellent and Michele just made our stay that bit more special.
