I would stay again in view of location and cleanliness.

Breakfast was adequate, service was excellent, room 45 was small with view of building across the street. , the small lift worked well.

Room 45 floor has a bit of a slope to the floor, but I understand the building is several hundred years old..

AMAZING TEAM .. GREAT location .. Excellent place to stay at

first thing .. the staff ... the team here is truly AMAZING ... all the ladies were kind, helpful, welcoming i really liked lura (sorry if that's not how to spell the name) she helped us out a lot from check in until check out i truely loved staying here and felt right at home because of the team .. so again thank you so much for everything the location of this hotel is really exceptional .. you got everything around you..... including touristy attraction, restaurants, supermarkets, coffee shops, bakeries, and even public transportation .. it's all few mins by walking .. people who will arrive without cars will LOVE the location so much the room size and arrangement were really good, very clean facilities bathroom had a cool slider door with good ventilation the breakfast although it was small and limited but i really think it's excellent .. the lady with red hair (sorry i forgot to ask her name) she was so kind .. she even prepared the breakfast 30 min earlier for our last day because we had a flight to catch .. i really appreciate your help so much

the entrance is hard to find ... especially if you're arriving by car .. you have to go from the main street to a narrow walk-way and barely have enough space in the front to load and unload your stiff .. and personally i got confused because there is a store in the ground floor that sells clothing so i was not sure if i reached the correct place or not there is no parking spaces around the hotel .. you will have to park in not-so-far away public parking space around like 10-15 min walk from the hotel but it's SUPER expensive with a day rate of 45 franks ... if you want a discounted rate you will have to pay at the hotel as they will give you a 36 franks per night poor room lighting .. maybe consider adding more light ?? last thing we had an incident with the elevators which broke down on the last day.. we had to carry our luggage on the stairs (we stayed in third floor) which was a bit of an inconvenience and we werent compensated in any way for that ... the price to stay here was very expensive too which i didnt like anyway i really truly wish the best for Boutique Hotel Helmhaus team .. and i can assure you that will be staying at your hotel next time im in town for sure ... thank you so much for everything final verdict .. i highly recommend choosing this hotel when you're in zurich

Super practical location to explore the old town. Efficient and pleasant staff, comfortable and clean room, and a good breakfast with healthy options. Feels like a family-owned hotel. Our teenager was with us, and the daybed was comfortable and proper (which is always a challenge when traveling as 3 grown people), and the room was spacious enough for the 3 of us. We will certainly be coming back!

The parking garage is a few blocks from the hotel, but you can load/unload in front of the hotel. It didn't bother us, but it might be a consideration for some.

Very nice hotel in good location

The hotel was cameral and really nice. Very good locations, close to lake, main places available by walk, close bus and tram stops, 15 min by walk to HB Zürich. Breakfast was very good and enough with salty and sweet options. Room was Very comfortable and clean. The windows are very good at soundproofing outside sounds. Staff was really nice and helpful. All day was possible to get for free coffee, water and take fruits and small sweet snacks.

Exceptional boutique and quaint hotel in the heart of Zurich.

The hotel is a great boutique hotel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating for us throughout with a good knowledge of the town. They also helped us when we arrived early and were able to store our luggage and kindly contacted us as soon as the room was ready. The breakfast was not included with our stay but we opted to add it on the final day for ease and found it to be exceptional and great value for money given the price of things in Zurich. The location was excellent and almost unbeatable for seeing all things around Zurich. Really, our stay was faultless.

Slight step up to enter the room, and another to enter the bathroom. Could be a trip hazard. Also, glass shower enclosure could have been longer to better contain water.

Spacious and modern room in the heart of the historic district.

We booked two rooms for our party of 5. Both rooms were spacious and well appointed. We ended up paying for the breakfast, which was delicious. It might seem like a lot initially, but for Zurich-it is a good deal.

Comfortable stay in a beautiful boutique hotel in the centre of Zurich

A beautiful boutique hotel in a terrific location in the centre of Zurich. Our room was spacious, extremely clean, with lovely artwork and the hotel was run by caring, friendly staff. There was an issue with our tv not being able to access English speaking channels and the front of house staff member (sorry, I can’t recall the manager’s name!) resolved the issue promptly & kindly. 😊 The breakfast was also excellent, good variety with great quality produce from around the region with very great welcoming hospitality. Would definitely stay again!

The location is fantastic. It is in the heart of the old town, equal distance to all directions. Staff is extremely helpful, we arrived well earlier than we anticipated and she offered us some kind of early check-in.

The location is fantastic! Very convenient to walk around and see many attractions. Tram is easy to get to/from the train station and we took a short walk to a bus that drops you off right at the Lindt Chocolate Museum. Very kind and helpful staff.

Excellent accommodations in a central part of Zürich

This boutique hotel is conveniently located in Zürich, very close to the Limmat river, tram lines, eateries, attractions, and walking distance to Zürich Hauptbahnhof. Every staff person we interacted with were friendly and professional. Breakfast (included with our stay) was simple, yet delicious. Coffee, tea, and water available at all hours. Our Double Room was spacious and very well appointed.
