Beautiful public spaces especially the dining room. Warm and friendly service. The room had a lovely view of the front lawn with mountains in the distance.
Smallish room for the price, the food was good but not special. There was no shampoo or shower gel dispenser (all fixed to the wall) at the bath so you had to keep getting out of the bath to shuffle carefully to the shower area dispensers several times for this.

Enjoyed the friendly staff and excellent food, the dogs everywhere and just a very relaxed vibe

Meals were excellent, and the room was as hoped. Enjoyed the hotel stay very much.
Having booked through Booking.com I incurred full price for the room and full price for the evening meals despite the stay being during the Wnter season stay deal at the hotel. That was very disappointing!

Excellent service, great garden and views and good dinner. Very comfortable bed.
Very small bedroom and tiny en-suite, tired old basic furniture with no room for luggage, which was very disappointing given the over £250 per night price.
