Coul House Hotel

The hotel owner received us personally and gave us some advices about what to do in the area. The house is marevellous and very well refurbrished. The restaurant, breakfast and the staff were 100% perfect.

Nothing. Everything was perfect

My husband was not well so this was the perfect place for him to relax and not do anything but sit and enjoy the garden. We had come from the Isle of Mull to go to another hotel south of Inverness which did not work out so we drove an additional hour north of Inverness to Coul house. It was the perfect place for him to relax walk a little, sleep great place to just sit back and put your feet up loved the fireplace in the entry way very helpful staff on arrival would recommend for anyone to stay here

Having to wait in the bar before being able to go into dinner - understand the reason for it but did not like it at all we dont drink. Not a negative about the food but for me a flexible offering of what can you eat and we can prepare based on what we have available for those who have severe allergies, are limited with vegan, limited vegetables and limited with contents on sauces, soups and garnish its tough but asking what can you eat and we will prepare would have been great for me. Its hard to travel but perhaps wait staff could be asked what can you eat and we can get chef to prepare something for you

It was a wonderful stay. Stuart and his staff go out of their way to make you very comfortable and provide anything you need. The decor is tasteful and sympathetic to the property. It was our favorite stay in our three weeks in the Highlands. The afternoon tea was fabulous. I liked that it was all a cart so that you could choose what you wanted and there’s no waste.

Loved it all

Excellent service, great garden and views and good dinner. Very comfortable bed.

Very small bedroom and tiny en-suite, tired old basic furniture with no room for luggage, which was very disappointing given the over £250 per night price.
