Town: Within easy reach of a host of exciting tourist attractions and surrounded by spectacular mountain and moorland scenery, the small village of Carrbridge has a great deal to offer during both the summer and winter months. Situated within the Cairngorms National Park, the village is home to a pony trekking centre, a challenging 9-hole golf course and a good selection of shops and eateries. The Landmark Forest Theme Park and Visitor Centre features displays on the natural history of the Highlands and once a year, during October, the Village Hall is transformed into the setting to find the World's Best Porridge Maker, a competition not to be missed! Nearby Aviemore, with its championship golf course and wide selection of shops and pubs is well worth a visit, whilst the surrounding countryside offers great walking, cycling and wildlife watching opportunities together with superb skiing on the Cairngorm Mountain Range. A fantastic location all year round!
