A great value quirky hotel / Padel court gym with a nice bar and excellent restaurant

We've stayed here before. The rooms are fairly basic but spotlessly clean. It's fun to have a drink in the bar whilst watching people play Padel (the hotel doubles as a Padel gym). Dinner in the restaurant was excellent, and the buffet breakfast was good.

Good for a one night stop

Good free parking, hotel was a bit difficult to find in the town, up a small turning in the street, no signage indicating where it was. Had a lift to the reception area. A fan was provided in the room to cope with the heat. Poor lighting by the bedside for reading. Shower was a hand held device in the bath.

Awful! Don’t book a room in this hotel! there are better options available!

Forst of all, it is advertised as a hotel and not sports club. Lets see: - i was given a basement room, one out of two rooms (31, 32) with no option to change. when I discussed on the phone with one of the employees requesting to change the room his answer was: not possible, good night! The reason for this request was that in another room, where they keep the rubbish I believe, somebody was smashing glass bottles making a lot of noise as you can imagine. The employee didn’t care about this! - In the restaurant the personnel has no skills in dealing with customers. I was given a table at some point and aftee about 15 minutes I was given a menu although they were asked a few times. They don’t even speak engllish and don’t understand when you ask something. - the room was smelly and feeling humid. These rooms are placed in an annex sort of as at the entrance they have shop. - it was noisy during the evening probably because of the people from the sport centre which is above these room. Also, through the window, close to the ceiling, you have only about 10 inches space to see outside. - there is no way to put the heating up - In the morning the people working in the kitchen were more interested in grabbing food for themselves from the food meant to be served to customers then making sure there is enough food - there were about 3, 4 people working in the kitchen but customers had to go regularly there asking them for different things as they were busy eating or doing other things - the dinner was awful and the chips were so hard that you couldn’t stick the fork in them. - 90% of all TV channels are French - the door locks are not working properly and you have to pull up the doors to be able to lock/unlock them. - etc

Great dog-friendly hotel and restaurant

Great place to stay a few days with two dogs. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The restaurant is great and dog-friendly too. The staff is friendly.

Received a different room with separate beds instead of one two-person bed. But that room what still very spacious. The staff leaves you alone, which I appreciated. It was just a bit odd that no one greeted us or paid attention to us at breakfast.

Adequate room , no frills ,

As it was new years eve,we didn’t expect a lot but one room decided to make a lot of noise up until 23.15 then went out. The carpet in the corridors iis not clean and needs replacing. It was adequate for our stay but very noisy doors and you could hear everything in the next room.

The room was functional next to the parking lot. Easy access upstairs restaurant / bar / restaurang. Ala carte restaurant opens at 18:30. Service was good and portions big, would rate it as 7+. Good size of a bathroom and comfortable bed

We overnight Friday - Saturday and the hotel was busy during the night. That's understandable if you are next to highway, but this little courtyard was busy driving hole night. Maybe the paddle club had night some event?

Very nice room - Good location - Excellent breakfast. All in all good value for money.

There were extensive works going on at the Hotel, this was disturbing when walking around - but I guess that is temporary and had to be done.

Staff, in difficult times the staff are under pressure to meet guests requirements without putting their health at risk, the compromises put in place were well explained and implemented with no fuss.
