The Spice Lodge

We had a great stay. Kamal was incredibly accommodating, friendly, and kind, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was spacious and comfortable. We also really appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the pleasant incense and plants. The view from the window was lovely and made the stay even more enjoyable. It is also close to Little Adams Peak and Nine Arches Bridge.

The cons are that there are quite a few steps up to reach the accommodation (but Kamal kindly took our suitcases up for us) and it can get quite loud with the wildlife outside at night.

Good location and walking distance to town. Beautiful view. Good value for money. There is no vehicle access - only access by stone staircase which may be problematic for people with luggage or with mobility issues. There was a dog below the lodge that barked the entire night and actually impacted our sleep.

An absolutely unforgettable stay! The breakfast was amazing every morning — fresh, delicious, and prepared with great care. The views were honestly some of the best I’ve ever seen in my life, overlooking the beautiful jungle and creating a true paradise atmosphere. Waking up surrounded by nature, listening to the sounds of the jungle, and enjoying such breathtaking scenery made this experience truly special. The accommodation was peaceful, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing and reconnecting with nature. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and magical getaway!

Familiar property in the middle of the nature, peaceful with enormous windows. The host was helpful and the breakfast was homy and tasteful.

Not in the main town, which has down and upsides. Closer to hiking routes, so that's a plus!
