Riverside Toulouse (Harmony)

Die Unterkunft war angenehm groß und rund 10 Minuten vom Stadtzentrum entfernt. Es war sauber und die vorab Info war klar.

In der ganzen Wohnung waren verbots- oder Gebots- Infos oder Fotos was zu tun ist oder eben nicht an Wänden, Türen, etc. (Sicher 50) Man fühlt sich da als Gast nicht so wohl. Die Einrichtung ist in die Jahre gekommen und die Handtücher würden wir als Putzfetzen verwenden (sorry für den Ausdruck)

La ubicación es fantástica y el apartamento es cómodo, limpio y bien amueblado.

El anfitrión nos pidió 300€ de fianza como condición antes de entrar en el apartamento y hay numerosas instrucciones y normas en un tono intimidante por toda la casa.

L’emplacement est central dans Toulouse. Nous étions 2 et l’appartement est assez grand … un grand salon, salle à manger et cuisine, un grande chambre. Pas de bruit ni de l’immeuble ni dans la rue. La chambre donne sur une cours intérieure calme. Très propre, très confortable avec tous les équipements ménagers habituels y compris une machine à laver et un lave-vaisselle. Plusieurs supérette à proximité. L’appartement est conforme à sa description. Et bravo pour le parking dans la cours. Après ça : Visite de Toulouse éblouissante.

L’appartement était un peu froid à notre arrivée (mars) et nous avons utilisé la climatisation réversible pour le chauffage. Après ça été super.

The apartment rated 10 on decor, size and location--very close to river, restaurants, and appearance.

The disappointment of this apartment resulted immediately when we arrived at address given. Arriving in evening just before dark resulted in not getting into apartment until after dark. Getting key to get into apartment was like a scavenger hunt--got taxi to apartment address and then had to walk over 100 meters to obtain key to parking lot (although manager knew we were not driving and would either walk from train or take taxi). Then instructions were to go back to apartment to retrieve apartment key inside gated parking facility. One reason we chose this apartment was that it was advertised as having washing machine.. After getting into apartment, discovered sign on washing machine said "broken--do not use" and was taped shut with duck tape. Refrigerator had a frost buildup and freezer was frosted over completely and door was ajar. In order to close freezer door, we had to defrost freezer manually and captured and dumped about 5 liters of water. It would have eventually melted with door ajar and caused damage to the floor. Being a career engineer and mechanically inclined my husband was able to resolve the refrigerator and freezer issues before it created severe damage. He also downloaded the refrigerator/freezer manual and sent in French and English to the apartment manager. We have rented apartments during our 13 years traveling to Europe and our experience has been that there are generally some things to get renter started in apartment that have been left as a courtesy by the owner or other renters; i.e, salt and pepper, coffee pods, tea bags, paper towels, dish cloth, hot pads, dish detergent etc. but the only thing in apartment for renter was 2 rolls of toilet paper. We did not expect it to be fully furnished but have never previously seen rental unit totally without anything except dishes, only few cooking pans, and flatware. There were no spoons to even stir pots if choose to cook--only serving spoons.
