The location is great, and the apartment is cute and well furnished. It's also private, with a small balcony overlooking a quiet courtyard. There's also parking (for one small car), which is nice given the downtown location.
There are two things that were less than perfect. There is no air conditioning, and while that may be normal for a French apartment, it got quite hot, and it was uncomfortable sleeping with only one small fan. Second, the owners require a security deposit in addition to the payment made online. After it's too late to cancel the reservation, they will send you a link and require you to enter your credit card details online before they provide instructions on how to access the apartment. This is super shady and should not be allowed by Booking.com. This is not secure, and there is no recourse for the guest if there is an issue. I would recommend against any property that does this. I even waited several days after my stay before posting this review because I was afraid they would try to keep my security deposit.
