This unit's location in downtown Toulouse was exceptionally good. The apartment is pristine, modern, very clean. Beds are comfortable. The apartment is newly remodeled and (almost) everything works well. The wood beams and brick wall are nice aesthetic touches.

The apartment is so beautiful that little things were a bit of a downer. The lighting is a bit stark; there are no curtains on one of the bedrooms, which can be looked into from the dining room. Because everything is pristine and modern, with no soft surfaces, it is echo-ey. Some important things were missing: a corkscrew, oven mitt, paper towels, sufficient toilet paper, a third chair in the living room (this was a rental for three people), additional outlets on night tables to charge phones, a hook or shelf in the bathroom. The shower didn't drain well and we were afraid of flooding the unit. The owner did not send a plumber to check until we checked out after three nights. The entrance process is excruciating, especially after a long trip: 1) ring an outside doorbell to be buzzed in; 2) walk up to second floor and enter a code to gain access to a staircase blocked by a metal grill; 3) walk up another floor and enter a code into a lockbox to retrieve apartment key; 4) struggle with the key. Finally we felt that a 48 euro cleaning fee was a lot, and on top of that the owner asked us to carry out the trash and clean the sink.

The location of the apartment (pedestrian street) is in the middle of the city center which is very convenient. The beds are very comfortable and the apartment is brand new. The kitchen with the island is beautiful and also the bathroom and toilet are brand new. The host was very friendly and a bottle of prosecco was waiting for us.

It was quite difficult to get into the apartment (3 doors, including a code); we were nervous about the process as I had to initiate the day before arrival the conversation about the keys. The code of the key safe was provided the same afternoon of arrival. We brought our own dish towel. There was very little privacy in the apartment as there are no curtains in the living room (neighbors can look in) and the second bedroom has no curtain in front of the internal window. VERY noisy street with lots of drunk people during the night. I recommend bringing earplugs as I got very little sleep. The cleaning of the apartment was not sufficient; dirty oven, sink, carpet etc.
