Great location, good value, nice apartment!

This apartment is located on a charming street in the historic center of Piran -- easy walking distance to everything. It's big and roomy, has a decent kitchen and bathroom, and a big, comfortable bed. I'd definitely stay here again!

The only minor inconvenience is picking up the keys. I took the bus to Piran and walked with my luggage around the marina and harbor to the bar/restaurant where one picks up the keys. Then I had to roll my luggage right back around the marina and harbor once again to the apartment, which is very near the bus stop. Also, the directions on the information sheet about the location for the apartment that I picked up at the bar/restaurant where I got the keys described a "blue house" and it's not blue at all. Not a huge deal, but something the owner might want to clarify. Otherwise, this is a wonderful apartment, and I'd stay here again.

Great accommodation, spacious and comfortable.

The room is spacious with great lighting and atmosphere. The windows are great, really good soundproofing and the shutters help to keep the room dark for the night and also great for keeping the room cool. Air conditioning is working fine, room was clean and kitchen is fairly equipped.

Walls are thin so you can hear others walking on the corridor. Light is also coming in from the corridor under the door so sound proofing wise this is not the best.

Could be a nice place to stay.

Main room is spacious. Furniture is appropriate. Location is great. Fridge is very cold.

We stayed in apartment 3 for two nights. To summarise, the place is too dirty. Maybe my 18-year-old backpacker self would have found this ok for 40€. But paying 140€ per night is absolutely not ok. Some of the highlights: The worst was the smell in the bathroom, like public toilet/drainer smell plus something else. This evaporated to the room although we kept the door shut. The shower was full of mold/whatever. There was hair and stains in the bathroom and throughout the main room, other collections of dirt in the main room. A simple mop of the place would have solved that. The towels had stains on them and didn't smell fresh. Additions: The air-conditioning worked, but the controls were broken, so it wasn't adjustable, and released a high-pitch sound occasionally for a few minutes. What worked well was the fridge. It froze all our things, which we would have just laughed off if occured alone.

They gave us the key but told us to go to the wrong property. Had to go back to bar to sort it out then to another property farther away with all our luggage.

Central location but uncomfortable beds and no hot shower

Property was close and within walking distance to all the sights and restaurants and bars. The ladies at the cafe that helped check us in were absolutely lovely and so kind. They were incredible warm and helpful!

Upon arrival, you check in at a cafe and are given a map to find your apartment. It’s a bit like a scavenger hunt that isn’t the most fun to participate in after a long day of travel. The beds were really stiff and hard; it made it uncomfortable to sleep. The hot water also took a very long time to warm up; even though we switched the hot water on for several hours before we showered, it still remained lukewarm at best. You are limited to the towels that are provided from the start of your stay and no straight line of communication to host.

Three nights in Piran

Great location in the heart of Piran and plenty of space for the family. Our host was very accommodating after we changed our check-in time and went out of his way to make us feel welcome.

Be aware that you will not be able to park near your accommodation in Piran and you only have 15 mins to drop-off luggage.

Pleasant

The location is good, not too far from everything. Check-in and check-out process is great. Size of the apartment is nice and the apartment is nicely decorated. Staff was really nice.

The apartment wasn't really clean. Bathroom had a weird smell we couldn't get rid of. Shower was moldy and toilet seat broken. There weren't any toiletries, even though it says it comes with free toiletries.

Great location, clean apartment but noises coming from upstairs...

Location was great. Apartment itself was larger than expected, very clean and kitchen was equipped with all necessary things. It was easy to collect keys and my messages were answered promptly.

HOWEVER! We stayed in the first room (first floor) and were able to here all the noices coming from second floor. And I mean all the noises. During the first two nights we were not able to sleep before 2 AM because of the neighbours upstairs and that was really frustrating. They should definitely put some signs to tell people that all the noices can be heard downstairs and silence should be between 12 AM-8 AM. The neighbours moved the furnitures during the night for some reason and walked with high heels and when the floor is made of wood, you can hear all that. I would not stay here with the kids...

It was cozy apartment

There was a problem with the list of promised things and they were not there… like kettle, coffee machine, touster. After contacting the responsible person just kettle was solved. Then we found out even hair dryer was broken… no one helped us. So please confirm with the apartment before what is really available there. Also it was a bit sad to have a kitchen without essentials like salt, pepper, tea… we had to buy it additionally.

pretty nice place! only a few small issues

great location. very clean. nice facilities and ambiance in general. would come again knowing what to expect. also the kitchen and air conditioning and thermal insulation in the windows all worked excellently!

the check in is a bit of a mess (even if its as advertised and its not terrible). contact with the host was a little difficult. we ran out of toilet paper on day 2 and no matter how much we wrote she did not answer until the next day. same happened with the check out, we mostly had to guess what had to be done. in spite of that she was very nice (when she answered). also it supposedly included toiletries but didnt have shampoo or soap in the shower. also we had waay too much noice coming from the other rooms (apparently there were kids but still very bad acoustic insulation). it wasn’t at all a bad stay! its just many small problems.

Lovely staff member showed us to our rooms and helped us with all our questions. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Great location and we appreciated the free parking.

The bathrooms in our two apartments were too small and had a damp drain smell that we couldn’t block out. The hot water was not plentiful.

Location was perfect, safe, central and a short walk from everything (beach, cafe/bar right in front) but still calm and quiet. The check in was smooth and the staff were so friendly and helpful, really took their time to explain to all points about the area and things to do to us. The apartment/room itself was perfect, extremely clean, well equipped, bathroom/shower lovely and shower pressure was great (especially after the beach). Kitchen had everything and we cooked quite a few meals too so it was really appreciated. Bed was comfy and cosy and aircon worked a treat! Overall a lovely staff, was pretty much perfect and we would 100% come back!

What a nice surprise.

Our stay was fantastic. Accommodations where very nice. I loved the narrow streets and the coffeehouse at out doorsteps. The vibe in the city is very welcoming and also calm. Very nice place to stay longer than just a few days.

We are extremely satisfied. Location of the apartments is great (very close to the center) and accommodation was perfect as well (clean, well equipped, modern). Then we really appreciate smooth communication with the apartment provider (all employees have warm approach). We also emphasize that we received discount although we didnt expect it (we have to leave earlier than we planned and Apartments Fonda House easily fulfiled our requirement).

Wonderful appartments in the most beautiful village

The location was perfect. Right in the center of Piran. Seaside and restaurants around the corner. Nice appartment for family of 5 (6possible as well). Big Nice bed upstairs and two single beds. Couch in the room was easily built into a double bed. Every two days new towels. Kitchen well-equipped with dishwasher etc. The Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great airco.

The shower had a curtain and the Floor gets very wet. A mop or something like that should be Nice. Something to dry the Floor.

Nice accomodation at a beatiful city!

Nice room in the old town of Piran. Everything is close to the apartment, a Mercator is only 50m. Clean and well equipped. They offer cheaper parking at the city garage, which is a big advantage.

Very friendly host, clean apartment, nice furnished. However we stayed in 1st floor and tourists in the 2nd floor were quite loud. As floors are probably wooded we would suggest to put some signs so that people are aware to take care how they walk, move chairs...
