A perfect stay. Just what I needed for my business travel. It was clean and located perfect.

Handy room rental in the center of Florence

Rooms rental next Florence SMT station, very handy to explore the city center, very good value for money, very kind staff, good room size. We got an issue with the heating and we were upgraded into another room. They offer coffee and something to eat for breakfast delivered in the room fridge. Around the location there are plenty of bars and restaurants.

The heating is provided with air conditioning units and the rooms isolation is not great.

Just wanted to share that my stay was absolutely wonderful. The location was perfect—close to all the famous spots but not crazy expensive. Plus, they had everything I needed, from cozy bathrobes to tasty snacks. Seriously, it made the whole experience so much better!

I really enjoyed my stay overall. The only thing was that since I take diuretic medicine, having the bathroom a bit far from the bedroom was somewhat inconvenient. But honestly, it wasn’t a big deal.

Excellent location, clean,l facilities in good condition

Excellent location, can walk to main attractions and still on a fairly quiet street, and just 6 mins walk to the main station. Facilities are great, bathroom/shower/heater are spacious and in good condition Clean and they give continental breakfast croissants, bread, and lots of spread, etc Host is friendly and accommodating Corridor is nice too

Functional room close to the station

It is in a good location, close to the train station and the tourist attractions. Room was cleaned daily.

The room smelled off, maybe of stale smoke, even after leaving the windows open. Wifi did not work. The room was more worn than it looks in the photos. The street outside is loud and can be heard through the windows. It is functional for a stay in a good location but not a room one would choose to spend any time in.

Good place to stay while visiting Florence

I liked the location of the property. It was great right next to the train station and walkable to major tourist spots

The check in process was needlessly hard. The owner messaged through Booking.com, but then would not respond to me when I messaged them back through Booking.com. Also, wasnt clear that we had to email them a photo of our documents until when we arrived at the property and couldn’t get in. Just stating the email address in the original message about check-in would have solved this issue.

The location is perfect, very close to the train station, yet quiet, and a short walking distance from most major attractions. We were able to arrive in late afternoon and leave early in the morning through a convenient self check-in/checkout procedure. Decent room size.

Lower your expectations and you’ll be fine.

Location is good, and the hotel was responsive in communications and answering questions.

No staff on duty after morning, room service was lazy and not up to the standard of regular hotels. Asked for cash only payments for city tax at the time of check out, which is suspicious.

Excellent Location, Good Air-Conditioning

We stayed 1 night in a Family Suite with 2 adults and our 17 and 20 year-old kids. The location is excellent, close to the S.M. Novella train station and easy walking distance to the Duomo and other main attractions. It is on a small street with businesses and restaurants and is a fairly quiet and nice area to walk around. The rooms are a good size and clean and comfortable in addition to being charming. We had a small fridge stocked with milk and yogurt and there were pastries provided for breakfast. Tea and coffee were also provided. There is a small elevator which fit our 4 small suitcases and we walked up 1 flight of stairs to our room. It was hot in Florence while we were there but the quiet air-conditioning units in our rooms worked very well and we were very comfortable. We had one large bed and a sofa bed. The sofa bed wasn't the best, but it was adequate. The windows opened onto the street and were good at shutting out any noise from the outside.

There were some very noisy guests who came in late and we could hear them from the central stairwell. Also, the floors were not substantial enough to prevent us from hearing banging and stomping from our upstairs neighbors.

Nice hotel, close to the train station and all attractions.

The hotel staff offered us an early check-in time so that we could catch the bus to the outlets upon arrival. Very nice owners/staff. Moreover, the daily in-room breakfast offers more variety than expected.

We found mosquitoes in the room, probably because we were in a room close to the balcony.

One of the best places to stay in the heart of the city

This Locanda is run by a family. They are kind and caring, lookong out to help whenever you need it. The place is centrally located, touristic parts of the city can be reached by walking. I highly recommend whether you go for business or with family.

2 years ago when I visited Florence I choose this place too. At that time they had a very hearty breakfast with fresh coffee, cold cuts, cheese, fresh bakery products and fruits etc. This time they just put some packaged food into the room every day. I missed the nice breakfast and its athmosphere very much this time.

Great Place to Setup a Home Base Near the Train Station

This hotel is very close to the Florence Train Station (less than 5 minute walk) so it is super accessible. It is on a nice quiet street and the host is very friendly and accommodating (including letting us drop our bags off at 11am). The suites themselves are spacious and the internet is super fast. The A/C also works well and the bathroom is a decent size.

Some guest may find the bed not soft enough.

Exceptional

Wonderful owner-run accommodation close to the center of Florence but just far enough away from the main crowds. A 5 minute walk from the train station or tram terminus from the airport. The owners were very friendly and helpful and the facilities were comprehensive and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable and a delicious breakfast was served every day, with fresh fruit and even cooked omelette on request. There are a number of good restaurants/trattorie within a couple of minutes walk which are more reasonably priced than in the city center.

The temperature control of the shower was not very good with alternating between very hot and cold.

A very nice place to stay in the heart of Florence

A lovely place to stay in the centre of Florence. Close to the train station and walking distance to all the main highlights of the city. The B&B is a beautifully decorated place, the room was nicely decorated and a normal size for Florence standards. It was clean and the breakfast was very good. The owners are very friendly and very helpful. We highly recommend this place, probably the nicest place we stayed in our many visits to the city.

Excellent experience with excellent hosts

The host was excellent. We arrived late but the electronic check-in was a step-by-step procedure, easy to follow. Breakfast was great. The host was always there, asking to serve us with more than we could eat or drink. The room was very clean and topped up daily. Located in the historical centre, at walking distance from all sites.
