The facilities and location were excellent. I especially appreciated the kitchen and the balcony, which made the stay very comfortable and enjoyable. It was nice to have a window in the room, allowing for proper ventilation. There are also many restaurants nearby, and the area felt safe even when returning at night. However, I had a very disappointing experience regarding the city tax. I stayed for an additional night, and a staff member collected €8 in cash in the morning for the city tax. Despite this, during checkout I was told that the city tax had not been paid and was asked to pay it again. Even after explaining that I had already paid in cash, the payment was not reflected in their system, and I was required to pay the same amount again. This situation was frustrating and disappointing.

I stayed at Ostello Bello for 5 nights, and it was even better than I expected. I stayed in a 4-female dormitory which was very convenient as it had two en-suite bathrooms. I felt very safe and met some wonderful fellow female travelers, making my nights here truly enjoyable. What sets this hostel apart are the thoughtful perks: free still and sparkling water, and coffee available all day. They also organize great activities, including some fantastic free pasta nights! The location is unbeatable—only a 5-minute walk to the SMN (Santa Maria Novella) station and Conad City (a large supermarket). It made exploring the city so easy. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit!

I was charged and paid upon arrival, but I already paid when I made the initial reservation online. The staff said they could not do anything till a manager arrived in a few days, and when he arrived, he emailed me asking for my personal account number to directly refund me. When I said I didn’t feel comfortable emailing my bank and credit card account information, he said I would need to reach out to Agoda for the refund. Now I have to track and fight to get my money back, but it was their fault for accidentally overcharging me! The staff and manager were very nice but this process is unacceptable.
