Fortunately had a "preferred" room with a balcony and two doors to the balcony, for much daylight. the other rooms (that I peeked into) had smaller windows, so less natural light.
THe theme (famous musicians and classical music) was chraming.
Service at breakfast was slow, and we were obliged to pay for breakfast, when others had it included in the room rate.

Large room (this was the corner room with two full-size glass doors out to the balcony) and there was only a block from the Zocalo.
Well, the theme is really interesting and engaging, it’s a little bit dated. It could use something of a facelift. (. All depends on your standards, of course). But there’s plenty of hot water, ample storage space, comfortable bedding and sheets, plus unlimited, filtered water from dispensers in the hallway.

Location of the hotel near everything, easy to find all the services, Theme of the hotel really nice and a lot of nice art all around. Strong recommendations.

Location and charm
The room wasn’t what I would call clean. There were 2 old rugs, one of which we removed so we wouldn’t have to walk on it.
