Great, affordable stay in Puebla centro.

Great little hotel in the center of Puebla. The rooms are basic and very clean with everything you need. Good hot water in the shower. The staff is fantastic, and always friendly and helpful. The location is right in the center with everything you want nearby. Finally, a great price for a comfortable stay. It's the second time I've stayed here, and the quality remains.

Super comfortable bed, wonderful views, nice helpful friendly staff of course Spanish helps but I give credit to Hotel Nube for tolerating my presence at their fine hotel situated in colonial Puebla. Unlike US cities with masses of homeless people in urbans areas, Puebla like other Mexican cities was free of homeless, panhandlers and other street vagrants who degrade the living experience.

Would be nice to have ergonomic seats, premium internet service, business services, like a meeting room with a flat screen tv, snacks other amenities.

Great, except for AC issues making it impossible to sleep

I had high hopes for the hotel given other reviews - the location was great, they had amazing views from the rooftop, ample size well laid out room with a cool street view and super nice and accommodating staff

We had a major problem with the AC, the one in our first room made an excessively loud noise every 30 mins during the night making it impossible to sleep through the night. They changed our room for the second and had the same problem (less intense noise from the AC, but still bad). Seems the AC units need maintenance, but made it pretty unpleasant to stay there

Nice staff. Centrally located in the city.

Horrible arrival experience. The front of the hotel is typically a crowd of people waiting for their cars, parking attendants and people passing by on the sidewalk through this chaos. You cannot check into the hotel until you surrender your car to a "valet" who immediately parks it. No consideration is given to the need to unload from the car things you need to take into the hotel, so you have to chase down your own car to get your things from it. Very inconvenient and annoying. Parking costs extra, both day and night. Driving in this city is extremely slow, tedious and frustrating. The rooms are small and ergonomically nonsensical. Unless you have a high tolerance for congested cities, avoid this hotel and maybe this city too.

Exceptional

Very clean, comfortable, modern (newly renovated?) small hotel. Good base to explore Puebla - walking distance from historic center. We rented four rooms for our group, all were good. On site parking garage was convenient to leave car. Staff was professional and helpful. Overall very good value.

Good hotel but they can improve details

Very good position close to the city center, room and bed were comfortable, nice terrace on the roof with view of the town. Staff was very nice, ready to help.

The breakfast was very poor: only bread with jam, coffee and a glass of juice. The second day my room was not clean. I payed an extra to have an early check in. The gym is almost without equipment.

The hotel is located conveniently in walking distance to the Zócalo and major attractions. The hotel is new and clean and staff was nice. Good wifi.

Lightning in the bathroom is poor. The bathroom is open to the room and the toilet is only separated by a thin glass wall. The gym was very basic. No hair dryer or safety box in the room.

NICE BOUTIQUE HOTEL but NO HOT WATER IN SHOWER FOR MY 2-NIGHT STAY

Solo traveler in Room #205. Location excellent. Zocalo a mere 4-5 minutes walk. Lots of dining options, cafés, cantinas, drinking places, pastry shops, artisan places & all the sites nearby. Easy to get taxi or Uber because of location. Room immaculate, great lighting (both natural & electrical). I’m a heavy sleeper, so early morning street noise doesn’t bother me or keep me awake (I was awake & writing at the desk, so I heard all). And, 2 things that were really great. 1) This was the first place in my 4 months of travel where a facility had facecloths to wash your face and use wherever on your body.. And (2), the toilet paper holder was strategically located where you didn’t have to do magic tricks or twist & turn your buddy to get the paper. it was intelligently placed where you didn’t have to stretch behind your back or pull a muscle grabbing the roll from where you couldn’t see it. And the staff was accommodating.

I would have rated the facility a 10, but for the 2 booked nights I was there, I couldn’t get any hot water out of the shower at all. First day at 10 in the morning; second day at 6 in the morning. I’m a seasoned traveller, I know showers can be funky, but I tried everything & even waited a bit with handle turned each way, but there was NEVER a difference in the temperature of the shower water: it was always COLD. Not Luke warm, just plain cold. I wasn’t gonna let the shower run for 10 minutes to see if a belated hot water was suddenly gonna appear out of the sprocket;; that would be incredibly wasteful. However, there was immediate hot water from the bathroom sink faucet. Go Figure.

The hotel is very central. The beds are comfortable, and the rooms are very well designed, with quite modern fittings. The staff was quite friendly also. The terrace and the gym are also a very nice addition.

While the reception could be a little bit more friendly designed, the biggest drawback was the very poor soundproofing of the room. At one point, we heard the vibration alarm of one of our neighbors phone at 6:30 a.m. and we asked ourselves whether there was a phone in our own room. You can hear people talking in the hallway or moving chairs up on the rooftop. While we could sleep very well and sound, it was not because the soundproofing was good but because they were probably not many guests in the hotel.
