The location was convenient, as it is rather close to the ski lifts (in particular the more demanding ones for better skiers) as well as the cross-country track. However, it would be still rather far to walk in ski boots, thus one does rely a bit on a car (also for shopping, going to Kranjska Gora).
Adjacent to the property there is a yard apparently used by the Post, where loading operations with trucks did take place already rather early in the morning (not nice for those who enjoy getting up later). When there was heavy snow fall, a snow plow was active nearby throughout the night, but this would be difficult to avoid - one does want cleared streets and roads in the morning.
