Atypically designed apartment in the attic near ski slopes

Atypically designed apartment in the attic of an apartment building, a short distance from the ski slope and the city center. A good starting point for exploring the surroundings and close to all amenities - shops, post office, swimming pool, square, etc. The apartment has a cellar in the underground garage for skis. At the same time, there is enough space for parking in the private parking lot in front of the house. But given the location, it is not necessary to drive anywhere, you can get to the ski slope/and back on skis practically from the house via a shortcut through the forest.

The apartment does not have an entrance hall, you enter directly into the living area and there is very little space to put down jackets or hats/gloves. The additional staircase to the mezzanine is more for smaller people. We only had one key, the doorbell was not marked, which made our stay a little complicated. I would recommend marking the doorbell.

Could be nice for few days, if they make efforts!

Location was good, the view from the main window was nice Bathroom and kitchen was ok

First night we had no heating, we wrote to the contact, but they could not solve it. So we slept in 16 degrees with a 4 years old. We figured it out that they have remote system for the heating, and you cannot set based on your own comfort. Heating was an issue during the whole stay… When finally got warm, we woke up to a loud noise from radiators in the livingroom. Kettle was dirty. Tv is really old, you cannot plug any USB HDD to watch a movie or even youtube. You have to think twice to pee during the night if you sleep upstairs as stairs are tricky…

This visit was an extremely bad experience.

BE WARNED!!!!! The apartment was fine but BE WARNED there is a 120 euro security deposit. We were informed after leaving that our entire deposit was to be taken for an apparent torn sheet. WE DISPUTE THIS. (Worse still we were initially told that the deposit was lost due to a spillage on a sheet, blanket or pillow.) Below are photographs of how we left the property. As you can see it was left immaculate. We are always extremely respectful of any property we ever stay at. I have been travelling for over 35 years and have NEVER EVER lost a security deposit. The booking agent (not the apartment owners) provided a photo of the apparent damage. We requested the meta data (date and time information) from the photograph to prove it was taken after we left the property. Despite multiple requests this information was not provided. The Booking.com help facility has been anything but 'helpful' informing us that they are unable to help. If, AND IT IS A BIG IF, we were responsible for a torn sheet then 120 euro is an exorbitant amount for this. This review would not be so scathing had the amount been reasonable and in accordance with the replacement cost. BE WARNED.
