wonderful location, cosy room and accommodating host

We stayed in a double room for few nights, the room itself is quite spatious; double bed, sitting area with a couple of armchairs, a small fridge and a kettle, a full length mirror.. The bathroom is quite small, so for a bigger person it might be a bit tiny, but it has everything you need. The bed was comfortable, the room was tidy, warm and cosy. You can use the balcony that is shared between two accomodations, but each has it's own set of table and chairs. It is accessible through the shared corridor. The whole house is tidy, and you can use the ski storage room downstairs. The owner is wonderful and very accommodating. Parking is in front of the house, it is quite narrow but safe. The house is next to the ski rental, ski school, ski slopes and a very good restaurant. Location is really amazing; no need to move the car at all; everything is walking distance (besides already mentioned, a bakery, a grocery shop, pubs, cafes...). Overall, I recommend and would happily stay here again.

It is perfect place if you come skiing with small children.

Apartments location is amazing. Slopes are literary behind the corner and shops 3 minutes walk, cross-country skiing park at Planica/Ratece few minutes by car. Parking lot was just for us, plenty of space to store skies, bobsleds, ... There was even ski boot dryer etc. Kitchen was rather small but well equipped (including basic mixer and robot). The only thing that was missing was Microwave oven. Both bedrooms were rather small. Beds were comfortable. We loved the installed recuperation which change the air without noise almost all the day (as programmed).

Wi-fi coverage and ping was rather worse, bandwidth was OK (measured 10/10MBits). It was ok-ish for browsing and watching videos from some parts of the apartment (one bedroom) but unsatisfactory if I would like to work remotely from the kitchen (having teleconferences and use corporate apps). We had apartment above the garage. I assume that there are no problems in other apartments which are in the main building as the signal got better closer to the main building.

i recommend staying here, house small bit very functional. Hosts always highly available and polite.

The hosts were very welcoming and supported us in any need. Position of the house excellent, near the supermarket and a restaurant. Cleaning very good.

Unfortunately the Internet service did not work properly with any of our devices. The host made many attempts to try to solve it bit the signal was poor in the house. certainly a router wifi located in the house would solve the problem. Probably a bit small house for a 5 people family like mine. No microwaves and laundry.

Beautifully designed home with friendly host!

It was such a pleasure to meet Janko and stay for a few nights in his beautiful house. Highly recommend! We stayed in the double room, and the mini fridge, kettle, coffee + teas were lovely touches. The next time we are back in Kranjska Gora, we will definitely be staying here again!

Great central location, spacious room with a gorgeous view, and newly renovated bathroom. Very handy to have a kettle and fridge in the room, with lots of tea and coffee provided. Thoughtful hosts who really make you feel welcomed.

Julian Alps Trail Run

Besides being located in a beautiful area, the general feel during our stay was "being at home". The house and the apartment where we stayed in is exactly as depicted and described: rustic and modern, very clean, and spatious. Janko, the owner is a great man! Very helpful and understanding and always having great advice about the area and surroundings and activities. We will return for sure!

More than a room with a view!

Apart from the spectacular view and the very good location, the welcoming was very warm and made us feel like home. The advice provided by our host was very detailed and to-the-point, while he was always there when we needed him, being at the same time super discrete. Last but not least, the support that he provided when we faced some difficulties with arrival was also exceptional. Overall, an excellent stay that we would choose again in the future.

Great hosts, great location. This is a great base to explore Slovenia in summer and I can imagine a fantastic winter ski location too. Lots of bars and restaurants on your doorstep and you are surrounded by the most stunning scenery. Bike hire is recommended and ride over the border into Italy is a good shout. So much to see and do, a week is easily filled!

I can't think of much. The wi-fi was a little hit and miss, but this wasn't a major issue.

very central, clean & well equipped, with a balcony with flowers overlooking the mountains. the host kindly greeted with a welcome drink & let us check in early. just a very short walk from bars, restaurants, ski lifts, supermarket, bakery etc. quiet at night. highly reccomended! i wish we could have stayed longer than 2 nights!

Janko was a lovely host who went out.of his way to make our stay successful. He allowed us to store our motorbikes in his garage and found us an excellent route map for motorbike tours. The apartment had everything we needed and was amazingly well situated at the foot of the ski slopes/right in the town.

Absolutely loved everything about this place! Comfortable bed and nice shower. The views are fantastic from the balcony and they have a nice patio area to be outside. Very close to restaurants and a good place to access hikes in the area. The owners are very friendly and good parking available as well. Would definitely recommend to others and would stay again!

We liked everything about this stay. We were 2 adults and 2 small children. It is sweet cosy apartments, excellent location, right on the ski slopes, the restaurants, the market, and the center.
