Good position for 2 day visit Plenty more to view next time…

Centre of town & good access to the citadel & the river for a cruise!

Room a little small We should have selected a more luxurious bigger room with tea/coffee facilities with the room price. But as only two nights it was ok. Very busy w/end at breakfast a bit of a bean fight😕

Very good value compared with UK hotel prices!

The entrance hall decor was intriguing. The room had a nice view of the courtyard. The curtains were light-proof. The best thing was the LATE breakfast.

The small table was sticky, and showed rings, probably from the bases of glasses. I don't remember having an armchair.

Charming and sparkly clean stay in the center of Besançon

The building is beautiful and the rooms are very clean, the staff is incredibly friendly. Great breakfast. Parking is easy in their lot. Many inviting indoor and outdoor spaces to use. Every room we’ve stayed in is different which is very charming. It’s the third time we’ve stayed there and we love it every time.

An excellent location in the heart of Besançon

The room was spacious and well appointed. The building is perfectly located in the heart of the old quarter.

We upgraded to a “room with a view” but had no view. We just saw the roof.

Great city centre hotel.

Beautifully furnished public rooms and bedrooms. Great en-suite bathroom. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent secure car parking. Brilliant location. Good value for money.

Surprised there wasn't a bar. Apart from that, nothing to dislike.

It is not easy to get to the hotel. It is in the closed for car area of Besancon. When you see the road block, drive directly to it. And call the intercom. They will open the road for you

Check how to reach the hotel before you arrive; you can't just drive up to it!

great central location

we were not provided information beforehand on how to drive to the hotel; you need to get permission to drive thru the pedestrian only street, which took a while to organise. Also the rooms are quite small, although very nicely furnished.

The public parking was cheaper than the enclosed one. Also, we were told that there was no available parking for our electric vehicle but the two charging places were free during our stay.

Good location, pleasant courtyard for parking. Bathroom was good with a generous shower size.

Decor was a little gothic- dark. Apparently dining room renovations were underway and breakfast was ‘camping’ style served off a trolley.

not a lot of facilities, no bar or lounge area, no kettle or facilities to make a hot drink. we booked a room with a courtyard view but our first floor room overlooked a roof, courtyard just about visible away to the left
