Right in the centre of Besançon with easy walking all round. Staff were super- helpful given the annual market which had blocked the town centre making it very hard to reach. Old-fashioned but clean and comfortable.

The hotel's location was great to reach everywhere within the city. It is an old and nice building. The interior and the furniture was a little outdated, but still very clean and had a nice old-timey feeling. The breakfast was ok, but not very special. However, the most pleasing part of the stay was the staff of the hotel. They were very cordial, helpful, attentive and friendly. They really positively affected our stay.

The interior and the furniture was a little outdated, but still very clean and had a nice old-timey feeling. The breakfast was ok, but not very special. Well worth it to stay here. The lady behind the counter was very informative and very helpful. The hotel is located in the middle of town and around nearly all the attractions we wanted to see.

Nice and clean and very friendly service. A negative aspect, however, was the inadequate noise insulation of the walls. Noises in the hallway and the room above were extremely loud. All in all a nice stay. The breakfast was excellent and served in a very nice breakfast room by the staff.
