A nice stay in a town with old history, museums and galleries

Helpful staff, large and comfortable rooms, high quality bed linen, rich and tasty breakfast, outdoor swimming pool, indoor mineral basin and spa

Bathrooms could be equipped with one larger bath towel and (or) a bathing gown

Pleasant stay

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel - the room was spacious and clean. I had good amount of sunlight into the room. The pool was not crowded and had the chance to swim. The saunas were also comfortable. I'd like to point out that the staff were super helpful and nice to me.

Very nice stay for the weekend

Very nice hotel, SPA center was really good, water is hot and bery clean, big sauna. Breakfast was more than enough, coffee was espresso. Nice atmosphere and bery friendly stuff

A nice spa break in a nice hotel, with friendly and helpful staff

The hotel itself was fairly empty, so the facilities in the spa and pool were only in light use. These were, however in good condition, although the massage facility was not quite so good in the cold weather.

The lack of a separate facility in the restaurant, whilst packed with Christmas events, meant meals were taken in the room or reception and were cold by delivery, so this needs more attention.

Spa was good, but that's it.

Both restaurants and bar were closed, which was not written anywhere, though reception offered delivery from some nearby restaurant, but when our meal got to us it was stone cold. Breakfast was ok for bulgarian hotels, they never offer anything decent, but some cheese, some meat, an egg. Bread and coffee were really bad though. There were some construction works ongoing, so from 8 to 5 it was just terribly noisy. Balcony door didn't close and they were not able to fix it. Given that it was ground floor and we had some workers outside it was very uncomfortable.

Go there only if you look for a pool at summer

We selected this hotel because of the pool. If you avoid the weekends you can enjoy it but it will be full on non working days. The hotel itself is noting special and will not impress you.

Very crowded breakfast in a small room. Rooms are small and terribly decorated. Bathroom shower is hard to use.

Great spa and pool, big comfortable rooms

The spa and swimming pool facilities were great, clean and well maintained. The hotel rooms were bigger than expected. The location was interesting and very peaceful with a great view from the restaurant. The server in the restaurant was very nice and friendly. We would come back to this hotel to stay and use the spa in the future

Room service was offered but there was no menu in the room or at reception you had to go to the restaurant to get the menu which didn't make sense.

Thermal water in Bulgaria

SPA is very clean, the water from the indoor pool is 36 degrees, the room and the bathroom is very clean.

Big problems at the indoor pool! Due to the fact that it is not supervised by a hotel employee, guests jump into the pool, bathe in the pool 1-2 years old children with diapers, almost no one takes a shower at the entrance in the water. The water from shower drains all over the bathroom of the room, because there is no tub in the shower.

Stayed as participating in MTB race over the weekend and hotel close to start / finish.

Just out of town in great location over looking the city, near Thracian tomb and parks. Only 15 minutes walk to centre and, which no big deal.

Excellent location near the Tyulbe park and Thracian Tomb. Rooms are comfortable.

Nice, but could be a lot better.

- There is a huge parking available for hotel guests - The relax zone is well maintained - Staff is generally nice and responsive to guests requests - The bed is huge (basically 2 "person and a half" beds combined as 1) - The restaurant is nice

- There are clear investments made towards maintenance and renovation of the hotel, but not enough to remove the "old" feeling (both from the facilities as well as the rooms) - Breakfast is from 07:30 till 08:30 and is being served in a rather small room, which is completely unacceptable for such a big hotel - both time and space are insufficient!

Pleasant

Good location, in a very close proximity to the Thracian tomb which is one of the main sightseeing attractions in the area. Indoors heated pool was also a nice feature.

The room had a cigarette smell in the bathroom and despite being renovated, it seemed a bit oldish. The emergency plan of the room which is supposed to be there by law was removed from the back of the room door which seemed odd. Breakfast was poor, located in a very small and not airy room considering the current pandemic situation. The breakfast plate was covered with plastic for protection, already served at the table but the omelette inside was quite cold.
