Quick check-in. The hotel has a traditional southern Mexico style, from lobby all the way to the individual rooms, which makes for a different experience. Room was very comfortable. Shower / restroom space is a bit cramped but nothing major. Facilities are well kept. Indoor pool was kept clean, water was colder than expected. Ample parking. All staff were courteous and helpful.
My rate included continental breakfast which still included 4 Mexican dishes as well as the typical basic stuff. Other rates may include access to the full breakfast buffet that this hotel chain is famous for. Hit it before 9 AM or be ready to wait in line to get in.
Hotel is in a very safe area with lots of businesses, and the US Consulate, within walking distance.
In all, excellent option.
