Auto your home in Zermatt

Aura is a great home away from home especially for us family of three travelling for 3 weeks. It has everything, beautiful view, super clean apartment, complete high quality kitchen, comfortable sofa bed and main bed, easy to access, with location in the between Zermatt center and all adventure sites. It is also close to Matterhorn Glacier Paradise station. The host also great, he drop by and checked on the 2nd day to ensure all.is well. Definitely, I will recommend this Aura to friends and family visiting Zermatt.

Almost all is great. If a minor thing to improve is the main bed need to be checked for making a bit of squicking sound..

Modern and Comfortable Apartment with Great Amenities – Just Be Ready for a Bit of a Walk

Modern, spacious, and clean apartment — well-designed with great lighting and thoughtful layout. Comfy bedroom with soft beds and plenty of space. Cozy living area with a comfortable couch and plenty of natural and artificial light. Fully equipped kitchen: Everything was there — pots, pans, cutlery, microwave, oven, fridge, even basic spices. Perfect for cooking! Nice views from both sides of the apartment. Helpful and welcoming hosts — they personally showed us how the washing machine works and made us feel at home.

Access path is a bit complex: You go through a tunnel, take an elevator, walk to the building, enter the house, take another elevator… It’s not difficult, just a bit much. Location isn’t very convenient if you have large luggage: The walk from Zermatt train station involves gravel roads and uneven paths, which makes it very difficult to roll heavy suitcases. There are taxis though, for extra money. No bathroom soap/shampoo provided, which stood out since most other apartments we stayed at included at least the basics. Shower is in a bathtub, and the anti-slip mat was ironically quite slippery, making it risky to get in and out safely. Microwave is placed very high up in the pantry — not easily reachable unless you’re tall. We had to use a chair. TV didn’t have English channels. No conveniently placed plugs near the bed — a minor annoyance.

Nice short stay on a budget

Nice desent place on the Lido island. Main thing that worked for me was budget and it had central heating (as Venice is pretty cold). I also felt safe in this area, the host met me at the bus station. Quite easy to get to the main island - bus and water transport.

The cleaning was done with super agressive chlorine agent, it smelled for days even though I opended a window. I'm quite allergic to smells, pls don't use this terrible chemicals! On weekends there's a restaurant on the 1st floor which can be quite nosiy with music etc

Exceptional location away from the tourist fray of Zermatt but a short 5 minute walk to the main part of town. Lovely, impeccably clean, apartment with a wonderful balcony. We would definitely stay here again.

The apartment had many amenities of high quality, everything was clean and in working condition, fully equipped kitchen, two balconies, close to the ski lift and the bus stop and a short walk to town. There was also a ski boots heater so my shoes were dry every morning. Entrance is through a tunnel where the key pickup is, next to the bus station. At the top outside the lift the apartment is located another 100m to the right.

The sofa bed mattress was too stiff and I think it's slightly tilted down towards the base, so I had to sleep reversed.

the closeness to the ski lift and to downtown Zermatt. The apartment was fully stocked with all essentials, a ski boot room with dryer/heater for boots , and access to a washing machine for a quick mid week wash.

we could not control heating therefore had to slightly open windows at night as it was too hot.

Modern, clean and bright, excellent condition, perfect for 1 or 2 people, lovely updates, beautiful views. peaceful location. Take the free bus right across the street from the train station and get off stop before Klein Matterhorn.

The room is exceptional. All facilities are met our expectation. Also, host is lovely and very helpful. The room is in walking distance from train station with little uphill walk. Totally Recommend this place.

Since this apartment is on the hill with fantastic view from window, it could be a little bit reached walk from person who hates inclined walk.

Exceptional Exceptional the landlord who make sure everything is ok. Exceptional apartment, its very clean, warm, it provides your need. It closed to the E bus stop. It has a beautiful view from the window. Its very roomy and quiet during the day and night.

We found no shampoo and body shower.

Lovely

Nice location near a ski lift and not too far from the town. Nice view from the balcony. The owner sent us detailed instructions on how to find the place, which was useful (though it assumes you take the bus, which we didn't). The room was not big, but was very comfortable, and had everything we needed and more. The kitchen was very well stocked with utensils and equipment etc. Very clean, no daily service but requests were met quickly.

The house had all amenities and was comfortable for two people. The lift and tunnel with ski room made access to the slopes very easy. Thank you for a very nice stay

TOTALLY WORTH THE PRICE.

Location is indeed spot on as advertised. It's a good few mins walk from and to the town center. The apartment itself with all its amenities is all we needed and could not think of anything more to wish for on our stay. Our hosts are the loveliest. They have everything in place to answer possible questions in mind. They do respond quickly. Met them a couple of times to check on us and theyre absolutely lovely. The view is a bonus, with an overlooking view; the balcony is spacious enough for quiet moments while enjoying a cup of tea. What else can we ask for? Definitely worth checking this out. The fact that we didnt feel like tourist and that we felt we are at home is definitely amazing. oh wait, there's a view of the matterhorn with only a few steps from the house.

Nous y reviendrons et conseillerons nos amis

La propreté de l’appartement, la réactivité du propriétaire, le calme, le confort. La cuisine est vraiment très bien équipée, il y a des livres (en Allemand ou Anglais), il y a un caquelon pour faire la fondue, des adaptateurs électriques ... bref tout est pensé que l'on ait l'impression d'arriver chez soi. L’accès est un tout petit peu « ardu » la première fois … ce qui s’explique par les moyens d’accès dans cette charmante ville où il y a tellement de logements que les urbanistes ont dû faire preuve d’ingéniosité pour y permettre l’accès à chaque logement.

Rien, sinon que nous aurions apprécié un grille-pain😊

Geweldig appartement op een prachtige plek

Prachtig en ruim appartement op een schitterende locatie. Net buiten de drukte van het dorp. Het uitzicht is bij helder weer geweldig. In het ruime appartement vind je alles wat je nodig hebt. (zelfs een paraplu)

Klein aber fein - ideal für unkompliziertes Skifahren.

Die Lage ist sehr gut, nahe zur Bahn auf den Trockenen Steg/Matterhorn Glacier Paradiese, mit Lift und Tunnel einfach und bequem erreichbar. Die Ski können unkompliziert im Tunnel eingestellt werden und im Haus gibt es einen Skischuhraum. Die Wohnung ist klein (aber wir sind ja zum Skifahren hingefahren), gut ausgestattet und per Lift erreichbar. Es hat genügend Stauraum und Aufhänger. Die Küche ist erstaunlich gut ausgestattet, es hat alles was es braucht in top Zustand. Das Bad mit Dusche hat ebenfalls gut gepasst. Der Balkon ist gross mit Tisch und Stühlen und toller Aussicht, um draussen zu sitzen war es uns jedoch zu kalt.

Der Esstisch ist etwas klein, aber es ging. Die Wohnung hat alles in allem gut gepasst. Zermatt ist ein teueres Pflaster. Sehr geärgert haben wir uns über die Taxi: Vom Bahnhof zur Wohnung haben wir für die Taxifahrt ganze sFr. 25.00 bezahlt, ab 18 Uhr hat es gar sFr. 35.00 gekostet! Schade, dass wir Touristen so ausgepresst werden, wir haben dies als absolute Frechheit empfunden - dies an die Adresse der Taxiunternehmen und den Tourismusverein. Dafür kann der Vermieter natürlich nichts!

Geräumige, saubere und neue Wohnung, Nespresso Kaffemaschine mit Kaffe vorhanden (Kostenpflichtig), Frühstück ist nicht inbegriffen bei Wohnungen. Ruhige Lage, Zwei Balkone. Sehr gut ausgerüstete Küche (Mikrowelle, Toaster, Backofen etc.. Wäsche alles Vorhanden inkl. Frottewäsche. Bushaltestelle 100 Meter entfernt. Nahe bei der Klein Matterhornbahn. Gastgeber freundlich, hilfreich und gut erreichbar.
