Located in the Winkelmatten area - about a 15 min bus ride from the train station and 5-10 min ride from the ski lifts. Needed to take a bus also to get to grocery store. Gorgeous views of the Matterhorn!! Very quiet!! 3 bedrooms - one upstairs with its own bathroom, two adjoining downstairs with their own bathroom. (Smaller bed room downstairs is connected to big bedroom with the bathroom. No possibility to go from smaller downstairs bedroom directly to downstairs bathroom except via big bedroom) Kitchen was well equipped - also with salt/pepper/coffee/oils/etc. It is an eat in kitchen - you could fit 8 people in a squeeze at the table. Loved the fondue equipment - so much cozier to have a fondue at home!! One small complaint - bed linens are a little scratchy. Condition of apartment is older - though well maintained. Easy check in near train station.
