Good for short term stay

Free breakfast was good! Location is pretty good - about 10 min walk from train station and ski lifts, also close to shops and ski rentals. The shared bathroom and rooms were clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Free luggage storage! Good for a short stay.

An expensive basic hotel.

I spent four days in this hotel. It’s more of a chalet and borderline dormitory because there’s only one bath and toilet for the whole floor so you’re sharing with a lot of other people. The bedrooms are very large but the beds are hard and quite spartan there’s not a lot of things to do in the room. I suppose they expect that most people will be out wandering the city or skiing. Breakfast was nice - all you can eat buffet with quite a good selection of Swiss muesli and breads, cheeses and fruit. Other hotels in Zermatt offer similar and better but overall breakfast was a good experience. The main issue is the location is not convenient in ski boots. It’s half way between each ski lift. In future I will stay closer to the train station.

I didn’t like the number of stairs that I had to walk each night. I was on the fourth floor which is great for views but there’s no elevator and in ski boots it’s quite a tire. Some event. The rooms themselves were very Spartan so it wasn’t exactly a luxurious stay.

A beautiful stay in a well located and cosy hotel

The staff was really friendly, the location is perfect and easily accessible from the station. The rooms are big and the bathtub is a must after a day of skiing. I got upgraded to a beautiful room with view on the Matterhorn without even asking! The breakfast is also amazing. (Maybe some scrambled eggs would be appreciated). we extended our stay of 1 night because we enjoyed it so much. Thank you for everything! We will defo come back!

Steal deal in Zermatt

The staff , especially Jennifer, were really kind. My nephew fell sick on day one and she really helped us and gave hot water , tea and cookies for him. She even helped with the info on doctors and pharmacy. The restaurant was Cosy. The view from the room was really nice.

A cosy, memorable stay with excellent value for money.

I stayed at the Weisshorn Hotel in Zermatt, and it exceeded all my expectations. From the stunning location to the cosy rooms and genuinely warm staff, everything contributed to a memorable stay. Although my visit was short, every moment felt special. Despite the shared bathroom, the level of cleanliness was outstanding. The breakfast offered a great variety and was consistently excellent, and the dinner at the hotel restaurant allowed me to discover delicious local dishes. Considering the quality of the service, food, and atmosphere, the hotel offers excellent value for money. Visiting in December, the winter vibes and overall atmosphere were truly magical and will stay with me for a lifetime. I would definitely return one day.

Since Zermatt is vehicle free village, you have to walk a bit on the cobbled streets from the station to the hotel. There is not lift but Lukas was kind enough to help me carry my bag from the ground floor to the reception. He guided me well. The room was at second floor so I had to carry my bag as there is no lift.

The kitchen staff was a bit rude , while I asked her if I can pack my breakfast since I’m running out of time for my train , she made faces and said This is not a restaurant to pack breakfast for you.

Wonderful stay, the place is near the church, to get a beautiful picture of the Matterhorn.

Excellent, supportive staff, the hotel do not have elevators but we recieved so much assistance with our luggages and everything worked out.

The room was really comfy and cozy (you have a sink in your room which is a good solution). The shared bathroom was really clean and modern. I never had to wait for anybody to shower it use the toilet. The staff were really welcoming and kind 😊💝

Reasonable priced room during the tourist season.

The staff was very helpful planning the arrival and was in regular contact in the days before arrival. Staff on arrival and departure was helpful and friendly. Breakfast contained standard options to be expected in the mountains.

The distance to the train station was a bit far, the room was a bit too small and outside the hotel there was a motion activated light which made sleeping in some instances a bit challenging.

Great location and breakfast was delicious. All the staff we interacted with were lovely, especially the lady doing the breakfast!

With alot of luggage you may need to go up stairs, but as long as you are prepared for this it's manageable.

Very cute place to stay, great value for money

Great value for money, the location is possibly the best in Zermatt, the stuff was very nice and caring, rooms are simple but clean and cosy. The shared bathrooms are right next to the room so it didn’t feel like shared too much.

My companions mentioned some improvements on the breakfast, like some warm options, bigger plates, some fresh vegetables.
