Family run gem perfect for solo travellers or families!

Booked as last minute solo traveller over Xmas and was delighted with the attentive welcome, fabulous facilities and location of this gem. I was initially apprehensive of solo travel but immediately felt at home as part of this family run hotel which has a long tradition of being ran by skiers for skiers (check out the heritage!) And must mention the 5 star, 5 course evening meal so there is no fear you will be disappointed.

Perfect stay -- everyone was extremely friendly and polite, and the atmosphere very relaxed. The room was really quite spacious. The food was the highlight though: excellent, both dinner and breakfast.

Lovely hotel in beautiful St. Christoph - excellent food and friendly welcoming staff.

Gasthof Valluga in beautiful location, walking distance to lift. St Christoph very picturesque village, away from the crowds at St. Anton. No need to go look for restaurant since the hotel dinners were excellent. Staff were all very friendly. Had garage parking for car. Room was very comfortable with separate bedroom and living areas.

Just exactly what I wanted.

The staff were so friendly. It barely felt like I had to check in, I was just greeted at the door, shown to my room and that was that. The food was incredible: a 5 course menu every night and every bite was delicious. Excellent Austrian wine served too. The walk down to the main chairlift is just 200m or so next to that chairlift is an excellent spot for lunch. The ski/boot room is very convenient and they even have an agreement with the ski shop next to the lift that you can leave your stuff there overnight (no walking to and from the lift in boots with skis). The sauna is a great feature (no trunks required...) and an excellent spot to relax after skiing and before supper.
