Warm welcoming class with stunning views

The staff were fantastic, the property is 1st class, a mix of modern and traditional style with quality fixings, food was outstanding !, we booked the 2nd night of a road trip for 2 nights but ended up staying for 5 nights as we knew we would not find better - stunning views from the room straight down the valley

Perfect stay at Waldhof

The hotel is very cozy, family-run boutique hotel. The quiet location promises a good night’s sleep. The proprietors and all working there were very friendly, helpful with advice. The star is the kitchen - each five-course dinner is not just a piece of culinary art, but also represents five extremely pleasant surprises. That, plus the very rich breakfast, with options for every taste. The rooms are lovely furnished in natural wood and spacius with breathtaking views. We had a super relaxed time and we hope we will come again.

Every time we return to stay at the Hotel Der Waldhof, the pleasure is perfect, full of experiences and exciting. The hotel owners Andrea and Michael, who also serves as the hotel chef, are ultimate hosts. They are generous, helpful, cheerful and perfect by any measure. The hotel rooms and public areas are incredibly clean and magically designed, the work of Andrea. The breakfast as well as the dinner are handmade by the talented chef Michael. The meals are incredibly tasty and varied, always surprising and delightful. A unique experience every time, which is a fascinating culinary journey at the highest level that should not be missed. The hotel staff, apart from the owner, is very helpful, courteous, smiling and above all incredibly professional. The location of the hotel is in a wonderful and magical area of Sint Anton, known and famous for a great variety of attractions, hiking trails and of course special ski resorts operating in the winter season. Also, it is close and within reasonable driving distance to famous sites and travel destinations. It is important to note that the hotel also has excellent parking at no additional cost If it were up to us, we would give Hotel Der Waldhof the 5 stars it deserves. Without a doubt, we will return and stay at the Der Waldhof hotel, which is excellent in all respects.

Wonderful, cozy family hotel

The hotel made me happy! In a few words I will describe: this is a family hotel with excellent gourmet food from a real expert chef, modern and cozy design of rooms, excellently functionally equipped. Great spa area. Perhaps so! Also, good coffee.

A perfect hotel in a perfect ski area--the gold standard

Andrea and Michael are the consummate hosts. Best breakfast ever. Fresh fruit, lovely rolls and croissants. The dinners were unbelievable. They had a nice wine list, and the service was incredible. Our room was comfortable and spacious. The welcome was warm and efficient. There is not a single improvement opportunity we can think of. Can't wait to return. Not only is St. Anton our new favorite ski area after our first visit, but Der Walhof is our favorite ski inn.

!The only thing that could have been better is if we had stayed longer. They spoiled us rotten.

Thé welcome by the lovely couple who run the hotel, the clean and stylish decor, very comfortable room with every possible amenity. Excellent dinner, beautifully prepared and presented and the breakfast was another extraordinary treat. Definitely a place to go to again - so relaxing.

Simply superb hotel and a truly superb restaurant. The food alone is worth making a trip, our only regret is that we were so full from the evenings culinary delights thats we were unable to do justice to the spectacular breakfast.

Excellent and enjoyable stay in this very well run boutique hotel in the Austrian Alps.

Breakfast was very nice and varied. Location was quiet and excellent. Dinner was every evening different and delicious. The hotel people were extremely friendly, helpful and forthcoming.

Der Waldhof is a family run boutique hotel, operated by a very nice and friendly couple. The personal care and treatment was excellent! Without exception the meals were delicious. Every day we got good recommendations for our excursions in the beautiful environment.

During our 2 week stay we had a very relaxing time and walked a lot in the surrounding mountains. We enjoyed every day and specially the very friendly hospitality.

Das Essen von Chef Michael war traumhaft. Es war uns auch ganz fein, dass eine Spielecke für die Kinder gibt. Spa-Bereich ich echt schön und nicht abgenützt. Die Tücher verschiedener Farben sind wirklich praktisch.

Sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Das Zimmer war sehr gross und sehr sauber. Das Abendessen ausgezeichnet sowie das Frühstück. Wir hatten eine Autopanne. Die Gastgeber waren sehr hilfsbereit. Wir kommen wieder.

Wir haben einen Urlaub erlebt, welcher keine Wünsche offen gelassen hat. Die Zimmer waren sehr großzügig geschnitten und super ausgestattet. Die Gastgeber Andrea und Michael sind sehr freundlich und lesen einem jeden Wunsch von den Lippen ab. Obwohl der Wellnessbereich mehrere Jahre alt ist, sieht er aus wie frisch fertig gestellt. Sehr zu empfehlen ist das Abendessen, welches als 4-Gänge Menü dargeboten wird. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist über alle Maßen angemessen.

Geweldige accommodatie met lekker eten. We gaan zeker nog een keer terug.

De accommodatie ligt op loopafstand van Sankt Anton. Mooie, nette en zuivere kamers. Eigen kosteloze parkeerplaats en indien gewenst kan de elektrische auto tegen betaling opgeladen worden. Het ontbijt en het 4 gangen diner is van hoogstaand niveau, een culinaire beleving. De gastvrouw en gastheer (chefkok) zijn zeer betrokken met de gasten en zorgen ervoor dat de gasten zich thuis voelen. Om 16:00 uur staat er een stuk Kuchen klaar en om 16:30 uur kunnen de gasten gebruik maken van de sauna. Het was voor ons een top week!

Der Waldhof is echt een familiaal hotel met een zeer gastvrij en hartelijk koppel als uitbaters. Het avondeten (5-gangenmenu) en ontbijt worden aan tafel geserveerd maar zijn meer dan voldoende en altijd verrassend, klaargemaakt door de eigenaar van het hotel met o.a. ook ingrediënten uit zijn eigen tuin. De kamer was heel ruim en praktisch ingericht, ideaal voor een langer verblijf.
