A convenient respite in the Austrian Alps!

We loved the sauna spa, our room's view of St Anton and the proximity to hiking trails and St Anton. Staff were very helpful!!!!

A lot of things were closed in St Anton because we were there in the shoulder season. The weather did not cooperate. :( in early June.

Fabulous, would go back in the blink of an eye!

We couldn't have been happier with this hotel, everything about it was wonderful. From the welcome the moment we walked in to the evening meal and breakfast, it far exceeded our expectations. The staff were wonderful and very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, and the room was lovely and comfortable. The view was pretty good too!

There was nothing we didn't like, it was all great. We booked two nights, one on our way to Italy and one on our way back. The risk with this is that it's not as good as you hoped and you have to go back for a second night when you might not want to, but that certainly wasn't an issue here, we were thrilled to be back and even got the same rooms!

Nice hotel but not ski in/out

The food at the hotel was excellent, with breakfast being a particular highlight. Guests can make use of the convenient boot and ski room to store their equipment. The rooms are of a comfortable size and cleaned daily. For those who enjoy après-ski, the hotel is just a five-minute walk from the lively MooserWirt bar. The sauna offers a relaxing escape with stunning mountain views, making it the perfect place to unwind after a day on the slopes.

The hotel is located a 25-minute walk from the town centre along the main road (unless you ski down). There is a free shuttle bus every half an hour in the day, but it charges you 2.5 euros in the evening, and you can pay in cash only. Taxi from town is 21 euros. There are no shops near the hotel. The reception is only really manned in the morning/afternoon. The bar closes after dinner, and there is no communal area to sit, so you need to stay in your room in the evening. It is not a ski-in/out hotel. You need to walk to the slope, up the hill. I posted a photo of the little access road which takes you to the main slope into town. Be careful. It gets icy and slippery.

The hotel is perfectly located with a great host and staff.

The location of the hotel is perfect. It is near the ski piste number 5, so you can ski directly to the ski lifts or you can go directly to the city centre by bus (bus station in front of a hotel) which goes every 10-15 min. The breakfasts and dinners were great with lovely staff and a great host at reception.

Gorgous bedrooms, beautiful decor and lighting inside. Lovely spa, with sauna, relaxation rooms, and helathy nibbles and cordeials provided. Everything feels warm, indulgent and special.

My girlfriend left breakfast in tears on our last morning, due to one waitresses' rudeness. Various staff were unhelpful and unnecessarily abrupt during our stay, making us feel very embarrased at times. Terrible at looking into ingredients for a serious allergy (only actually asked once, to avoid being a pain) the overall attitude was 'can't be bothered to check, just go without'. Offered cooked eggs at 2/4 breakfasts, overlooked the other half. It was a lovely stay, but the eye-rolls and irritation from staff made us feel very unwelcome at times.

A charming boutique hotel in Sankt Aton

The charming hotel was decorated perfectly, with a keen eye for detail. It gives homage to mountaineering and the Austrian Alps. It was tastefully uncluttered and extremely clean. Our room was very comfortable with a modern bathroom and plenty of storage and a large balcony. The owners and staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially Monica at breakfast.

It is not within easy walking distance to the pedestrian area, especially for dinner. Unfortunately during our 4-night stay the dining room was closed for dinner for 2 of the nights. It was not clear as to how to notify housekeeping that you would like your room cleaned.

Great Hotel with much love for detail

We spent one night during our Austria road trip at the Koesslerhof. The Hotel was fantastic. Great rooms, the staff is super friendly and the food (a lot of homemade stuff for breakfast) was delicious. What we felt was really outstanding about this Hotel was the tiny details that made us feel at home. We will definitely come back in Winter!

Ein sehr schönes, familiäres Hotel in dem man sich sehr wohl fühlt!

Die Größe des Hotels entsprach genau unseren Vorstellungen. Die Premium Sommerkarte von St. Anton war im Preis enthalten wodurch man einiges spart (Bergbahn, Fahrradverleih, etc). Zimmer sind sehr gemütlich, Bad geräumig und alles sehr sauber.

Wir haben nach unserer Abreise leider festgestellt dass wir mein eigenes Kissen im Zimmer vergessen haben. Der Kösslerhof hat sich dazu bis heute nicht bei uns gemeldet - auch auf meine Nachfrage per E-Mail, ob man mir bitte mein Nackenkissen zuschicken könnte (natürlich würde ich die Versandkosten selbst übernehmen denn ist ist kein billiges Kissen gewesen und ich hätte es schon gerne wieder bekommen) habe ich keine Rückmeldung erhalten. Schade, dass bleibt dann doch negativ haften.

Es war ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt im Kösslerhof. Super freundlich, toller Service, sehr gutes Essen. Das Frühstück ist vielfältig, Eier werden auf Wunsch beliebig frisch zubereitet. Die Zimmer sind sehr gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Bad ist hell und gut beleuchtet, was ich zum Schminken immer sehr schätze 😉. Der Saunabereich ist klein, aber fein. Tee, Wasser, Nüsse und Obst stehen zur Selbsbedienung bereit. Wir sind rundum zufrieden und können den Kösslerhof sehr empfehlen.

Hôtel très convivial avec des installations haut de gamme. Le spa / sauna est très bien agencé. Le personnel est sympathique et disponible. La restauration est excellente et les chambres sont très fonctionnelles et spacieuses.

Een prachtig hotel op een prachtige locatie! Kamers zijn TOP en zeer net! Heerlijk diner gehad 's avonds en heel vriendelijk onthaald geweest. Wij reisden met een groep fietsers.

Erholsames time out

Die Reise war ein Weihnachtsgeschenk an unsere Eltern/Schwiegereltern (3 Pärchen im Alter von 71&67, 34&32, 31&30 und großer Hund). Von der Vorbereitung bis zur Abreise einfach spitze. Sandra Kössler und ihr Team haben sich super um uns gekümmert. Sie hat uns auch geholfen, einen Kuchen zum Geburtstag der Schwiegermutter zu organisieren, obwohl zu unserer Reisezeit ((Ende Mai) sehr viel in der Region geschlossen hatte. Die Zimmer sind modern und sauber. Die Betten sind sehr bequem (fest). Ganz besonders loben möchten wir den Service beim Abendessen. Die Dame hatte uns bei Checkin bereits begrüßt und sich sehr aufmerksam um uns gekümmert. Auch die Sauna mit Dachterrasse ist sehr schön und gepflegt.

Hier haben wir nur Kleinigkeiten (subjektiver Eindruck): Die Kopfkissen waren sehr weich. In der Sauna gibt es lediglich duschen. Es gibt keine Möglichkeit wie ein Tauchbecken oder Ähnliches, das ist vermutlich auch der Statik geschuldet, da sich die Sauna im dritten Stock befindet und dafür einen wunderschönen Blick auf die Berge bietet :) Die Dame beim Frühstück Service war leider nicht ganz so aufmerksam. Am ersten Tag wurden wir noch gefragt, wann wir den Kuchen möchten und ob wir eine Eierspeise möchten (Wir bestellten verschiedenes, war alles sehr lecker) Am zweiten Tag konzentrierte sie sich sehr intensiv auf das Buffet und hielt sich rund um die Bar auf.
