For an overnight stay to break my long journey this hotel ticked all my boxes. Very close to the station with a range of restaurants and a convenience store in close proximity.
The staff were really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was perfectly adequate to get me started for the day.
Whilst the decor and facilities were dated the place was very clean and my room had clearly been thoroughly cleaned before I got there as you could smell the cleaning products.
Nothing I disliked considering the price I paid. It’s not the Ritz but it doesn’t claim to be. The room was very small and the bathroom was tiny but everything worked well and it served its purpose.
