Well-located , lots of restaurants nearby, 10mins walk from Thonon les Bains train staton and central bus station. Breakfast was good there are just enough choices to choose from, lake Geneva overlooking view when having breakfast Recommendation to hotel: it would be more handy to have USB socket inside the room

Excellent location, within easy reach of the Portes du Soleil ski area and very much better value than in the ski resorts. Breakfast room overlooks the lake, and the view of the sunset is below. Public on-street parking is free on Sundays, after 19h00 and between 12h00 and 14h00, reasonably priced at other times. Hotel staff are friendly and eager to help, they have a 15 minute rule to satisfy guest's requests. Breakfast buffet is well presented and worth pre-paying.

Arrived very late and spent a night here before taking the beautifully scenic Route des Grandes Alpes . Delightful welcome from the night receptionist. The room was basic but spotless, with a very confortable bed and we could park across the road. Morning staff also lovely. Worked really well and was very good value for money .

Good budget hotel, though not particularly cheap, was ok for the money. Staff very friendly and spoke English which is always a bonus as our French is limited. Problem with exiting the car park but managed to get out! Breakfast plentiful.

great location and the manger was awesome helping us find a parking spot for our large van. The reception folk were amazing and nothing was to much trouble. The breakfast buffet is excellent value. The bar staff at night are really on top of it and very customer focused. The bathrooms and small and tired though.

It was a last minute stay. The hotel we had booked an hour away wasn't a 24 hour check in when we got there. So thankfully hotels.com found us a room where we could go. The agent was very helpful and understanding... The beds in this hotel were some of the best we have found thru all of france. Very soft after a 10 hour drive.

The hotel is well located on the northern foothills of the Alps and on the shore of the Geneva Lake, 40 minutes from Geneva airport and only 15 minutes from Yvoire, the beautiful medieval historic village that is an International Laureate of Floral Decorations, a member of the Association of the Most Beautiful Villages of France and a hub of glass arts and French cuisine. We stayed at the Ibis Thonon Evian on our way to hiking in the Alps and the Green Vallee. We had two comfortable clean rooms for a couple of days. The staff were professional, courteous and very helpful. The breakfast was delicious with fresh butter croissants and French crepes, natural and fruit yogurt, cereals, multi-grain spelt bread, juices, espresso, coffee latte and fresh fruits. In the past, we took the children to world-class aquatic center, la Cité de l'Eau in Amphion-Publier, which is open all year round with a 25-meter pool, a wave pool, a water slide, a diving pool, whirlpool baths, and a wide variety of activities: water aerobics, a water garden, swimming lessons and a fitness center with weight-lifting and cardio-training rooms, and sports facilities for basket-ball, volley-ball and rock climbing, all within 10 minutes drive of our hotel. We also swam and sailed in the lake and took one the numerous ferries crossing to Lausanne (12 km)
