Vélo Hôtel with helpful and kind staff

Staff was very helpful and kind from check-in with two bikes / vélos to check-out. We needed the front desk's help to request a large taxi (van) to move our bikes (in travel bags), luggage, and backpacks from the hotel to the train station. The breakfast is very good and the restaurant serves a good dinner meal (menu). The front desk team, the restaurant team, and housekeeping are first class. We would stay here again, esp during a heat wave (canicule) like that of mid-June to early July. They have air conditioning, which gives cyclists a break from the heat on non-ride days.

Room was smaller than expected, but as advertised. It's Europe and things are different. Not a big deal for our short stay.

Excellent location, both from the shopping center, harbour & Christmas Market 🎄 Very polite and helpful staff, room was as expected and I already know from the Ibis hotels, comfortable bed, very nice ambience around the reception and breakfast area.

excellent hotel for its value

The rooms are not so big, but comfortable. It has air conditioning, which is a rare option here. Good underground parking option for 25 EUR per week instead of 560 EUR of street price. Free juice at the entrance. Good breakfast. Cleaning every day.

There was no place to dry the wet clothing, we have to invent something.

Quiet location, close to the town centre, lake view

Good location, just outside the busy area but close enough to shops and restaurants. I had a room with a lake view which was nice. The room had everything I needed and was clean.

When I arrived, the room smelled of cigarette smoke, I had to leave the window open for a couple of hours to get rid of it, then had to use the aircon to warm it up. The bed wasn't great - too hard for my liking. The furniture looked a bit used (chipped off paint etc), but you get what you get for the price.

Great location, Breakfast buffet was very good, nice reception, and great staff. All the staff were very professional, and welcoming, and super friendly. Double bed was comfortable, and nice clean white cotton sheets. Generally the hotel is in very good condition, and great views of the lake and gardens from the breakfast room.

Shower would not stay hot or cold, even when not moving the tap. Tap was non thermostatic, and just went from hot to cold when not touched, which just made showering impossible, not ideal with two young boys, 9 and 11. I booked a family room at 18:00 and arrived at 23:00, and the bed was not made up for the boys, had to go to reception to ask for sheets, duvets and pillows, and put them on myself, very late at night. And there was still no under sheet, for the bed. TV volume was faulty, and would not go up or down, just for 10 minutes cartoons for the boys before bed, while I had my terrible shower.
