Just one night no much to say.

Nothing to like or dislike. Is not like shows on the pictures, is an old building with old decor.

At first look dodge entrance but it’s safe.

Average, with an awkward evening receptionist

Breakfast was fine, and the lady working in the morning too. And despite the saga with the evening receptionist, we did sleep well. The room had a door to the back garden, so that would suit travellers with pets.

The man at reception when we arrived in the evening was a bit awkward. I told him the hotel was not easy to spot (we were tired, you can’t see the entrance from the road, and it looks not at all as bucolic as on the picture…). He said “you have GPS in the car, don’t you?”. In the room, the decor was a bit tired, especially in the bathroom. No hook to hold the shower head, but it worked ok. I smelled the bedding and pillows as it didn’t look very neatly made, and cushions were smelly, like unwashed. That smell had transferred to the pillows (that’s what I preferred to think…). I asked the receptionist could I have new pillow cases, and the answer was no, “everything is changed every day”! And he came back with the GPS argument, as if we were to blame ?!? Very awkward…

Overnight stay on a long drive, arrived when reception was closed but lady on phone was very friendly providing us the code and informing us about where the key was. Very close to highway but just far enough to not be disturbed by it, bit of canal nearby for a walk. Went downtown for dinner but probably could have had it at the hotel too. Decent breakfast buffet.

Ventilation making insane noise when windows were fully closed.

Happy to stay again

Large clean room with a good-size bed and some storage space. Very friendly efficient staff (probably all family). Little English spoken - brush up your French!

Bathroom was only partially retiled Dinner menu was OK but serving spaghetti with chicken in a curry sauce was a bit odd!

We waren op doorreis en dit is echt een hele fijne stop. Schone kamer, ontbijt basic maar goed. Personeel ook vriendelijk. Is voor herhaling vatbaar!

Heerlijk en uitgebreid ontbijt, ruime eetzaal.

Personeel beetje norse uitstraling. Locatie ongezellig, maar prima voor een doorreis. Weinig meubilair, waarvan 2 erg gammele stoeltjes met wiebelpoten.
