Le gérant est super sympa, l‘auberge est très bien localisée pour les départs de rando à faire dans le coin et ma chambre était vraiment au top. Je recommande cette magnifique auberge les yeux fermée!

L'accueil très chaleureux nous avons été accueillis très chaleureusement par Nathalie une personne très gentille le petit déjeuner était copieux très bon cadre magnifique nous reviendrons avec joie dans cette auberge qui est dans un cadre idyllique avec de belles fermés vosgiennes au goeur des Vosges pas très loin de l'Alsace pratique pour les marchés de Noël et marche nordiques nous remercions l'équipe hôtelière pour cet accueil et ce confort que nous avons reçu le temps d'une nuit à très bientôt

Covered parking for our motorbike was a bonus, esp. since we had overnight rain showers.
The piece of meat for my main course at dinner was about the tenderest I've tasted - and cooked exactly a point. It's a pity that the other parts of the meal didn't live up to this high standard.
When we arrived at mid-afternoon, the hotel was locked up. We telephoned the number on the sign outside (the same as the number for the hotel in Booking.com) but no reply. It wasn't until 5pm that the hotel proprietress arrived and we could check in. Fortunately some locals saw us waiting in the car park, and invited us for a cup of tea chez-eux.
We ate our evening meal at the hotel (there was no alternative in the area) and it was quite disappointing. The plates were cold, frites were soggy and cold. The puddings were not as described - quite the worst profiteroles (boules of ice-cream with a top and bottom of choux) and creme-brulee (poor flavour, and stodgy) ever experienced.
On departure, there was a language mix-up, resulting in me paying twice over for the hotel - it has taken over 2 months for Booking.com to reclaim this from the hotel.
