This was a positive surprise.

This was a positive surprise. Booked last minute to stay a night. This isn’t the standard hotel with generic design, interior and rooms. a visit to the past, in design and a collection of antiques makes this a cool curiosity. All the staff were very welcoming and professional. The room clean and the beds comfortable. On top, the breakfast buffet is big and yummy and the dinner was delicious.

Great Hotel, Restaurant, Balcony - Would Return

Lovely balcony with a nice comfortable bed. We ate in the restaurant two nights which provided good food (fish or meat) at a great value. The staff in the restaurant were prompt and conscientious, and we loved the local folk dancers who entertained us. The pension meal with a main course and salad bar was a great deal. You can walk down a hill to the water to swim, but must cross a busy road. It's possible to drive and park across the street by the water if you have kids/stuff to carry. Note the beach is rocky and kind of "rough" so it's best to bring a chair and towels. You wouldn't want to sit on the gravel. We were glad we stayed here with easy free parking and swimming in Lake Ohrid rather than in Ohrid town.

This hotel gets huge tour groups. One night noisy teenagers on a group tour were next door and shrieking and laughing into the early hours of the morning. We called the front desk who were quick to tell them to quiet down. So you can hear through the walls if people are loud, but the front desk will step in.

Amazing views

Exceptional staff, very professional and welcoming. The hotel is gorgeous, the breakfast was fresh and delicious. The view was the best part. A huge balcony looking over the lake. Can’t wait to visit again.

The lake view from the rooms was great. The rooms were clean. The breakfast was great; it offered a wide range of options.

The hotel was nice, cozy and most of all clean and the staff were very friendly. There was enough parking space which was exceptional. The city of Ohrid was only 4 km away. Overall if I return to Ohrid, I will definitely book this hotel again.

the antique decoration was so nice. also the lake view is good

the staff was absolutely not friendly. (except the reception desk.) each time we needed to order something, the staff with glum face, they were look like they are working there very unhappily. so sad. also the room was not clean at all, all the corners of the room was spider web. bathroom was ok. however we cannot use our lake view balcony because of the dirth

Very good hotel for everyone

The staff is very helpful and professional. Its very clean. The ambient is mistical and full of antiques. There are more than 100 years old pianos and still in function and you can play.

Nice surrounding and busy hotel

The location is great which provides calm and peaceful surrounding to rest and enjoy. The rooms are huge and have enough space for having pleasant stay.

There are separate beds in the room made as one which are not so comfortable especially when the use of it is for couples. They should provide more information that the beds are from twin room connected in one. The housekeepers are very loud in the morning when they are cleaning the rooms around and we had situation of one housekeeping entering the very early morning in our room just because she confused our room with the one that was with check out. Those details are important to be taken in consideration for the next guest.

Beautiful hotel a short drive from Ohrid town.

The hotel has a great lobby and terrace area. We had a fantastic view of Lake Ohrid from our room. The staff was exceptionally nice. Lots of free parking.

Fantastic staff, comfortable and clean rooms.

Breakfast was really good, but the staff was amazing! Really helpful and friendly. Recommend to book rooms directly, they are a lot more flexible than an online booking system.

Had to cross a busy road to get to beach, but this had nothing to do with the hotell or its staff.

A little old-fashioned, but great customer service

Amazingly helpful reception staff - assisted immediately with a problem of a broken bed leg, and also helped arrange a car repair when we had a puncture. Even got the repair guy to come to the hotel - cannot recommend the 2 chaps on afternoon reception duty highly enough.

The car park was often full with cars of non-hotel guests, using it to access the beach opposite. It's a local thing, but the numbers of smokers was not good - perhaps consider a non-smoking area on the terrace where non-smokers can also enjoy the fresh air without having lungfuls of nicotine.

Old, noisy and in desperate need of a renovation

The breakfast was really nice

Everything is really old. The shower was leaking, the toilet flush didnt stop automatically, the beds were old and uncomfortable, cleaning ladies started at 7 in the morning with alot of noise and 1 morning at 8 they just came into our room without knocking while we were still in bed, and it was really really noisy so we could hear everything our neighbours or people in the hallway were doing. Also they had sign up about not putting your towel on the floor as a sign they didnt need to be washed, so we didnt, and then they were washed anyway. Dont act like you care about the environment if you apparently dont.
