Simple, functional and clean – everything you need for a quick stay.

Staff great - room lovely - slightly odd electricity!

Our room had a huge balcony and was incredible The hotel location is incredibly convenient right next to the tram and main station - 15 mins from the airport. The staff were wonderful - incredibly friendly, helpful and kind.

We had some kind of electricity issue in our room where the lights were buzzing and turning on and off. The bathrooms were a bit smelly!

Our second time we stayed at the Embassy.

One of the better hotels in Florence. Clean, traditional yet modern. Our room had a view of the duomo! An excellent breakfast in a charming spacious breakfast area.

Couldnt access Youtube. All instructions are in Italian. They make you download an app to cast to TV which was too confrusing. A bit away from the city center...but still close to the Station SM Novella.

The breakfast was awesome, the staff were friendly, the room was clean and cozy and the location was perfect.

The only thing is that the walls are thin, so we can hear other rooms and the train outside.

Beautiful and comfortable hotel for a traveler with an excellent breakfast spread.

Beautiful property near train station. Made traveling a breeze because it was 5 minutes to train station but far enough from the busy area. Does not look much on the outside but beautiful inside. We had a large room for European standards and a beautiful renovated large bathroom. One of the best breakfasts I’ve had here in Italy. It had something for everyone, sweet and savory. The croissants were so fresh and flaky. And both front desk persons were just very friendly and helpful. And of course an elevator!

Comfy room, big bed, nice bathroom with heated towel rack! Breakfast buffet was delicious and they make you homemade cappuccinos!

It’s a very nice hotel. Super clean, comfortable. A bit pricy, but everything in Florence will be.

It’s near from city center, but the 20 min walk to the hotel might be too long when you are already tired from walking all day long.

Nice hotel in a safe location.

The hotel is exceptionally clean. Excellent service every day. Breakfast was offered every day but we always had other plans and stayed busy. My impression was it was a safe part of town at all hours, but it’s only a couple blocks from the train station so walking past is always very busy and crowded.

There was no drawer storage. A small closet with 1-1/2 shelves left us living out of our suitcases often. The bathroom was large and clean, but the tub/shower was cramped with a shower door that only covered 1/3 of the tub. There was plenty of hot water with strong pressure. The beds have thin mattresses which are fine for 1-2 days but we stayed 5 nights and by the 3rd night they became a topic of conversation. I regret our choice to save a few dollars and stay on the edge of the historical district. It added about ten minutes of walking every day to where we wanted to go. Probably fine for the younger visitors.

A great location and better bed.

A king bed! What a delight (and for how restless a sleeper I am, to be able to not bother my husband's sleep, a lifesaver). For that alone, we'd come back and stay there every time. But it was also so clean and well-maintained. And since we were coming in very late at night, the location (right by the train station) was ideal. Two thumbs way up!

The only reason it's an 8 and not a 9 is that the way the window in our room is designed, the AC doesn't circulate—it blasts right into a strange ledge that absorbs that cool, so it did become noticeably warm during the night.

Definitely will stay again

The entire staff was wonderful. The breakfast was good. They even packed our bkfst to go since we had to leave at 630am. The rooms were clean and nice. Shower pressure was awesome. They have a patio courtyard we enjoyed time there as well. It was nice to have coffee in the room.

There is only 1 road and there was always traffic. So it was difficult for a taxi or Uber to stop and pick us up.

Close to downtown and training station. Feel safe and was comfortable for short stay.

Limited amenities. Basic room decor but comfortable. You can sometimes hear the trams passing by until late in night. Aircon was hardly effective in our large family room.

This was a culturally wonderful stay with lots of little streets to explore. Would highly recommend

Very comfortable room and bed. Great choice of breakfast. The staff were al very friendly and spoke very good English. The standard of the hotel is what we are used to here in the UK. It was a 5 minute walk to train station and 10 -15 minutes to the centre but we managed ok. Lots of good restaurants and plenty of museums and places of interest. Would like to spend more time there.

Beware of the mosquitos. Advise a good repellent to avoid being eaten alive!!

My stay was exactly what was expected.

Perfect location- SMN train station is 5 min walking distance, local transportation also nearby, room is nice , big, nice size windows, comfortable queen size bed with a high quality linen, modern bathroom, all fixtures are new. Breakfast served from 7:30 am - was supplied with amply selective of food. Overall it a very decent hotel for reasonable price.

Great location, lacking maintenence

Great location, right by the train station and 20 minute walk from the city center. Staff was friendly, and vreakfast was good.

Lacking maintenance. Bathroom didn't have light aside from the window, so taking a late shower meant bathing in the dark. One of the flush buttons on the toilet was out of order, and the other barely worked - compained twice over three days, and it wasn't fixed. Shower door didn't close all the way, leaving a cm gap between the door and the frame.

room was spacious, bed and linen clean, breakfast okay, Receptionist Martina polite and understanding, location good

Washroom a disaster; broken drain, broken toilet seat, tiles worn out and dirty, water tepid, shower head not working, shower curtain unbelievable, we were unable to have even a proper shower, in need of a complete renovation; night receptionist Leonardo unpleasant showed him the washroom and asked for a room change which was denied; next day showed Martina the state of the washroom, she acknowledged that it was unacceptable, she spoke to the Manager and they were willing to refund room charges but couldn't do so since we booked through booking.com. Said to take it up to you. Our one night's stay in Florence was ruined.

Very pleasant comfortable stay!

This hotel was very comfortable, clean, lovely breakfast with very friendly and helpful staff.

Our room was to the front of the hotel which was noisy as the tram passed outside! This did not bother us too much as we were up early to see the sights of Florence! We also booked very late and got the last available room.

Our room was extremely small. So right that We couldn’t open the closet door wide. Had to move the bed to the other side to access the closet.
