It’s a super comfy city stay, perfect for families, and a lovely place to be!

Wow, this hotel is super fancy and has all the perks for business travellers! The underground car park was a lifesaver for us. The breakfast is amazing, and dogs are welcome too! The fitness room is functional and small but has everything you need for a quick city trip. Our family suite on the 6th floor was fantastic, with two double beds (and one couch bed!) and a cute little top-terrace. It’s super clean and well-maintained by the incredibly friendly staff.

Just so you know, there’s no ELV charging available on-site if you’re using Youz.

Overall an excellent experience for our 2 night stay in Florence

The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was excellent with lots of selections to choose from. The pool and games area was great fun for my 11 yr old after a day of sightseeing.

The location is great in terms of proximity to all the sites (only 10 minute walk to Duomo), however you do need to pass via SMN Station which can be a bit scary at night.

Lovely, comfortable, clean hotel

Location was right outside of the heart of the city so the hotel was quiet but a short walk to restaurants, sites, and other major attractions. They also had free, secure parking. The room was very comfortable and clean. The check in process and bag check was easy with friendly attentive staff and they provided a restaurant recommendation for dinner. The bed was very comfortable and the water pressure was strong.

Nothing! Although the towel warmer was not turned on and is only turned on during cooler months of the year. Love having a warm towel so a minor disappointment.

A perfect stay in Florence.

This was one of our favourite stopovers on our three week trip around Italy. We thought the hotel, staff and facilities were all excellent and such good value for money. There were so many little extra touches in our room we didn’t expect and really appreciated. We had lunch in the hotel restaurant when we arrived and breakfast the next morning and the food was fantastic. The staff really looked after our son who has a dairy allergy which is a huge bonus for us, especially in Europe. There are lots of landmarks close by which we wandered to in the evening and we had a dip in the modest but clean and inviting pool before we left in the morning. A wonderful stay. Would definitely return.

Proximity to the train station and major attractions were within walking distance. Clean room. I got an upgrade. Complimentary snacks in the mini bar. The staff were helpful and warm. Breakfast was good with a decent spread. There is restaurant attached to the hotel. I had dinner there and it was wonderful! I will certainly stay at this hotel next time I am in Florence.

location not too far from central station however returning at night would leave one apprehensive due to types of individuals hanging around…..not pleasant!

Wonderful stay in Florenec

We loved this hotel. The decor was beautiful and the rooms were stylish and super comfy. The pool was a lovely addition and although it's small, it was never busy. Breakfast was delicious and again not too busy at all. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was great. We came in from Milan on the train and it was super convenient from the central station. We walked to all the main sites,none of which were more than 20 or so minutes away. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Lovely hotel with amazing staff!

Came to Florence to celebrate my 30th birthday and could not have asked for a better hotel to stay at. It was modern and clean. The location was great, not in the middle of the busyness of the city but not too far of a walk into the center either. The pool was a lovely escape from the summer heat. All of the staff are so friendly and welcoming! And they went above and beyond on my actual birthday with some extra treats!! I had a great stay :)

Good pool area

Pool area was nice, bar was good, balcony was nice and staff was lovely.

Bed was rock solid, bathroom had mould, pillows were uncomfortable, location was next to trams so caused some noise of night. Could near neighbours conversations. TV didn’t work.

Great hotel, great location!

Brilliant location, very close to Santa Maria Novella station and square. The staff at reception were incredibly helpful and Sergio gave us many useful recommendations upon check-in- thank you Sergio! The room was great, comfortable and clean. Also, the pool area was nice and it was very relaxing to just press a button and get table service for the bar!

The only thing we didn’t like was the fact that we kept having to ask for more milk/ tea/ coffee for our room. The wifi kept throwing us off which was inconvenient at first as we no longer had the access code.

Excellent location with great pool area and excellent facilities

Great hotel, just a few minutes walk from the station and also the main sights. Breakfast had an exceptional range. All staff members were friendly and helpful. The extra bed for our son was great, sofa beds are too often poor quality but this was a proper comfortable bed. Smooth check in & out. Online pictures don't do it justice, quirky but classy decor. The bar area is especially nice. Two great outdoor areas, one for breakfast and lunch, the other by the pool. Had a nice lunch on the day we left. Pool area is generous, lots of great loungers. Really quiet throughout our stay in early August. Would highly recommend the hotel to anyone.

I enjoyed the size of the bed itself which was very comfortable and it was clean.

The actual doorway is really skinny where only one person can get through at a time and the shower, for a disability room, was particularly difficult to navigate when it came to showering. Fixtures and the overall look of the bathroom needs updating.

Very modern and clean—very familiar layout for Americans used to the chain hotels in the USA. Great balconies! Amazing buffet breakfast (paid).

The rooms are slightly cramped for the single bed. Enough space to squeeze around the bed to get to the bathroom—but not much more.

Clever choice to stay here

The location is very easy to reach railway station and the public transportation. You never regret to stay with Indigo Hotel wherever you go. The bed and the pillow are very soft and comfortable. Breakfast is also great too.

Wonderful accommodations, wonderful vacation!

The location of the hotel was excellent! Within walking distance to many attractions as well as the train station. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were comfortable and showers were wonderful. Our view from the balcony was beautiful. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. Overall a great place to stay! Would definitely stay there again.

Hotel was easy to find a short walk from the train station. The rooms were well appointed and everything we needed. The reception staff were incredibly nice and helpful.

We took a lot of taxi’s because it was a little far for me to walk to the centre of Florence. But I don’t think it would bother most people.

Horrible hotel

Very poorly maintained and managed. Even though staff and management knew the problems with the rooms like lots of mosquitoes and very bad foul smell they give the rooms to those who didn’t book directly on IHG. Overall this hotel left us very disappointed and foul taste otherwise wonderful trip to Italy. After asking repeatedly to talk to GM they were just making all sorts of excuses and never let us have any interaction with management. Never bothered to try or follow up on resolving problems.

Breakfast was great. Staff was amazing, beds very comfortable and rooms clean. Outdoor area was beautiful loved it. The hotel restaurant food was superb so delish we tried a few different dishes all wonderful.

Rooms and bathrooms small, no hooks or shelves to hang clean clothes or towels in bathroom. Fan in bathroom didn't work so steam would fill room from showers.

Good choice of hotel, in a good location with the main attractions all within walking distance.

Location is excellent. Short tram ride from Florence Airport and then a short walk to the hotel. Staff are very welcoming and friendly both at reception and in the restaurant. We elected to have the buffet breakfast each morning and it offered a good selection with all the usual hot and cold items. Our room was on the 2nd floor facing the rear and it was very quiet with no external noise. Bed was very comfortable and the shower was good with great towels.

Although we did opt for a smaller room the design/layout could have been better. There were no hooks to hang wet coats and no shelf space to put objects on in either the room or bathroom.
