Amazing staff, location, breakfast

The location was great, 5mins to BHAM venue that we attended, and 15min to the city center. Great breakfast and facilities, pleasant staff - 10/10

We were happy with our choice.

We did not eat breakfast at the hotel but it looked ample enough. We really appreciated the light switches were flat, giving the impression that they were cleaned (at least able to be). The location being right at the tram/bus stop made arriving and departing very easy, otherwise we did not use public transport. but one staff member mentioned a bus to take to get someplace, which made it very easy. We liked being a bit away from the action as we got to walk more of the city. Also, the south western corner of the city between the station and the Arno had some really nice restaurations that were a bit cheaper than those in the center. We enjoyed the spa, and that there was regulations around how many people could be there.

The beds were very hard. The area near the train station is... a train station and all that comes with it. Planning for the spa was a tough. There were some times where we thought it would be nice to go in, unfortunately where it was not a pre-book, there was not space (which is also a positive).

The room had an unpleasant smell at first; however, following our request, the issue was resolved. A negative experience was being pushed to pay for the bottle of water in the room. I have stayed in many hotels, and bottled water is usually complimentary. At checkout, I was informed that only tap water was

The breakfast was really good quality and freshness, staff were nice and made cappucino on request; staff pre check in sent an email with interesting places to visit and a breakfast place to eat before check in in afternoon

USB sockets are pretty standard things for years even in older hotels, had to buy myself a charger.

The hotel was extremely clean and modern. It was very convenient as it is a short walk to the train station.

Great hotel but out of the historical district.

The room was very large and the a/c worked really well. The pool was nice and the breakfast had everything you needed including fresh orange juice and an omelet station.

The location was out of the way for all of Florence's historical sites. We learned how to use the buses to get around.

Enjoyable stay in Florence

Friendliness of the reception staff. Friendliness and helpfulness of the breakfast room staff and the breakfast selection which was very good including ice-cream! Location, being right outside the T2 tram stop was also great and close proximity to the main station was also very helpful for us.

To successfully get clothing onto and off of the hanging rails in the wardrobes, you have to be at least 1.83 metres tall (else, some steps might have been helpful). The start of some black mould in the bathroom coupled with a delaminating chrome tap didn't make for a great initial impression on our arrival. We did advise the reception staff about our issues, which also included only one chair on the balcony for a double-bedded room. It should also be noted that the hotel bar is only open between 18:00 and 21:00 daily. Since the local bars also close at 21:00, if you arrive later than 21:00, at least there is a mini-bar in the room!

Front desk staff were not welcoming when first arrived looked at us & didn’t seem interested, we had suitcase ‘s so it was obvious we were booking in a little bit disappointing when we had just flown in & excited to be in Florence

Nice hotel close to train station. Weak AC in room.

Check in was quick and efficient. Front desk was friendly and helpful. Family room was spacious. Having access to the pool and spa was so great. A good selection of food for breakfast. The hotel is so close to the train station. We were able to walk with 2 kids. The metro is right in front of the hotel and was an easy ride to the airport.

The AC is not strong in the room and you cannot adjust it. Some front desk staff not very friendly.

Overpriced! Nicer and more central hotels for a lower price tag.

The breakfast was the best part of our stay at MH Florence.

The staff were not very welcoming and our room was beside a generator - Room 502. Between the noise of the air conditioning and the generator it was very difficult to sleep. Also, upon arriving at the hotel I was asked if I’d like to pay a tip on top of the hotel stay, I thought this to be ridiculous given I had just arrived and hadn’t even seen my room at this point.

Modern and clean facilities. Swimming pool was great after a hot day in Florence. Breakfast was lovely- fresh fruit and orange juices. Good location- opposite the tram to get in and out of Florence.

Good city centre location

The hotel is a great location for visiting the many historic locations in Florence. The tram stops right outside the hotel at a very reasonable price (€1.70, lasts for 90 minutes). The friendliness of the staff, the Spa, you get daily access for 50 minutes, but you need to book (due to limits on numbers).

This hotel only offers breakfast, it would have been better if it offered an evening meal, but many hotels in the centre of Florence operates the same.

Great location to the station, about a 5 minute walk and 15- 20 minutes to the centre of town.

Breakfast had an excellent choice. You need to catch the waitress for your coffee, they don't come and ask you as you would expect and they all seemed to be in a rush. We did get offered a free drink at the bar if we didn't have our room cleaned and towels changed which we accepted, it was a nice gesture. The pool was a bonus, lovely to relax there after a full day of tours.

The bar was open only from 18.00-22.00 and there was not always someone at the bar, you needed to call them. It would have been nice to be open earlier.

Good hotel with a nice parking option if u r by car

Amazing rooms, super clean. Good breakfast. Has a pool area but it wasnt open despite outside temp being 25-6 degrees.

Location was a bit tricky to walk at night near thr train station we didnt feel super safe.. so we circled around through an underpass from the other side. Staff were ok, the receptionist at the checkout was a bit rude to me at the end and impatient to get us to leave. Also staff in general were kinda gloomy, didnt greet always..

Great location, great rooms, souless vibe.

The rooms were spotless clean, could not fault them. But no iron and would have had to pay to get my clothes ironed! There was no rooftop bar which let the place down.

The place was souless. The bar was not managed and after a long day of sightseeing I had to ask at reception for a drink? They also were not over welcoming.

Modern hotel

Very modern and the pool/pool area was really good. Every member of staff was helpful and friendly.

They didn’t have an iron we could use which is frustrating when you’re travelling and inevitably have creased clothes. They said it was a fire hazard but it’s just so you have no choice but to use their ironing service (which you have to pay for). We stayed in a 5* hotel in Mauritius in November and even they had ironing facilities we could use

9/10 Had a great stay and would reccomend

Overall everything, the staff gave us a calm room on the top, but there were some ventilation noises, so they changed the room for us and got us an upgrade. Breakfast is all you could imagine, even fresh ice cream, pancakes, waffles, and honey. Safe parking in a garage and a small extra price for our dog.

The outdoor pool was closed, the location is not the best, since there is a metro station just below the hotel. Also, the price was just a bit too high to rate it a 10, but overall 9/10. Thank you and thanks to the staff!

Exceptional

Excellent location. Facility is beautiful, and they just built an outdoor pool area that is gorgeous and will be available for use soon. We loved all the staff, the spa, and the massage! Perfect after a long day of walking and tours. The rooms are very comfortable. The bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is luxury. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. We definitely will be back.

Exceptional

The location of the hotel is ideal as it's walking distance from the center of florence with all of the sightseeing, plus it offers private parking if you have a rental car. It is clean, quiet, with good breakfast, comfortable and modern rooms, ideal for a small family.

Lack of dinner option, if someone wants to avoid the overcrowded restaurants at the city center or has small children or prefers something more quet.

The hotel was in works - people coming and going and dust outside with some maintenance work going on. The parking was good but hard to get to at first - got to talk to the reception physically so have to keep the car somewhere in the mean time..

Rude staff

The man at the front desk was rude. Claimed to call us a taxis but didn’t tell us where it would pick us up, then told us no others would come so make us walk 10 mins to the train to get one (this was a 45 minute ordeal trying to catch our flight home…)
