This is hotel is wonderful, dreamy like a historic adventure. We had a double room with lake view. Size of room is great and view as well. Provate anche il ristorante con menù bello e buon e personale qualificato!!!!
Nothing, well slightly cold in public areas and difficult to purchase exposed merchandise like foulards etc

Very luxurious and a beautiful building with a fabulous view of the lake.
Very patient with my extra plans I wanted for our stay and the food in the restaurant was amazing. We did feel a bit under dressed though and the restaurant is the place to dust off that fancy dress or suit.
Breakfast was buffet and generous.
The decor is very nice. It’s like the inside of Downton Abbey
Our room was very big with a spacious bed and the room was spotlessly clean
A bit set back from Varese. It does have a shuttle service to the city with a very nice car but limited in times. That said it’s only a 40 minute walk into the city. You can order a taxi as well as the walk up can be a bit steep
It has a spa but availability is limited and doesn’t start until 11:30 so book in advance and the same for the restaurant which is almost worth the trip by itself.
