The Art Hotel Varese was in a good location for our reason for being in Varese.

The staff was excellent, very accommodating with an early check in and arranging for a taxi pickup for us the next morning. The breakfast was okay and the location to the Villa Panza art museum was very good.

The hotel, was located on a busy street so it was not quiet.

Cleanliness throughout the property is exceptional, and the beds offer great comfort for a restful stay. One major plus is the availability of free parking, which adds significant value.

Everything was excellent. If I had to suggest one area for improvement, it would be the restaurant pricing, which felt slightly high compared to similar options in the surrounding area.

I loved the jasmine smell all around. Beautiful garden & nice bohemian vibe all around. Breakfast was nice, excellent coffee, nice staff, lovely town centre. The room was small but comfortable, 4 pillows for 2 guests.

Nothing we didn’t like. Sometimes I don’t understand people who review this as a 7. I always choose a hotel by reviews & , although this one has a good score, I don’t get the lower ratings.

Good for a stopover, but not to linger.

Good location for driving through the area for a quick overnight stay. Breakfast was in a lovely restaurant with good coffee and selection. 3-person room. Free parking, walkable to small city center.

One pillow per person, and hard as rocks. Stuffy room, auto fan/AC was not available. Loud hallways and side room/bed shook each time a large vehicle went by.

Satisfied

A quiet hotel a little outside of the center of Varese. Room included a mini fridge and was comfortable for two people. The building and garden is very beautiful, and has parking space available which was a big plus. Overall satisfied.

I liked the surroundings and the atmosphere. I have very positive feedback for the staff who served the breakfast.

I did not like my room. It was next to another room with a wooden door where I think I heard voices one night and it was too small. Also the facilities were far from 4 star hotel. The staff who was at the reception on the first day needs further training. You cannot give the iron and the iron board to the guests and ask them to carry it to the room and back. This is the job of the hotel staff.

Amazing , courteous, attentive , friendly staff ( especially the breakfast waitress and daily housekeeper ) Rooms were clean , comfortable and meticulously serviced each day . Lovely surrounding gardens to eat and relax in . Hôtel only a direct stone’s throw to main shopping mall , restaurants etc

If at all , a suggestion that a full bar service be available at the hotel , so we could sit , drink and relax without leaving the hotel ??

Any item left behind will magically disappear

clean, charming, breakfast staff was really nice and attentive

some parts are renovated (bathroom, amenities), some aren’t. most notably the windows. poor sealing that let cold air seep into the room in addition to make noise insulation non existent. big red flag: a few hours after departing we realized that we left an item behind. when we called we were flat out told that it was impossible as the staff would have reported it. our fault for leaving something behind, but not for making it disappearing.

A good, clean place to stay for a reasonable money. Friendly staff, superb location.

The breakfast was good though it didn't change from day-to-day but that's not a problem for a short-medium stays. The room was clean and spacious and the location was very good, not far from the downtown so you can walk there for a dinner at one of the restaurants.

There is nothing to mention, everything was OK and as expected.

Overall stay was pleasant however it feels like the standard has dropped over the last few years.

Most staff were attentive, engaging and helpful and the location and access are excellent.

Beds and pillows were uncomfortable and there was a lack of pressure with hot water, with it sometimes taking longer than 5 minutes for hot water to arrive. Disappointing that there was no bar service as this would be a nice location for apperativo. Breakfast in past stays has been a highlight however now feels a little main stream.

Didn't meet a single person from the hotel during my whole stay. Room was nice although aircon not effective/working. No facilities to speak of, so unsure how it has a 4* rating.

Relaxed experience in Varese

The hotel is just 5 minutes walk from the city center but still without any traffic noise in the rooms or in the garden. For 5 minutes walk you can reach either a little park with playground for kids, or the main street with plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants. We arrived very late (after 22:00) due to the traffic and the reception was supposed to be already closed. Anyway the people were still there and were very friendly, the "machine check-in' makes it even easier to check-in/out. The breakfast was very good, the restaurant is also excellent. The room was clean and spacious, it has everything you need even for a longer stay (towels, soap and so on). We had wonderful time there

Good place to stay in the center of Varese

Great location and beautiful grounds. Convenient on location parking and good breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful. Room very large and great showers.

Place is a bit run down. It has seen better days. Room comfortable but musty smell permeates all and windows are high up and difficult to open. Room heating difficult to adjust and room far too warm during the night.
