The room is absolutely lovely -- the bed is a real dream, the water pressure is divine, and I love that the breakfast is provided in room.
You are literally just minutes form the historic district allowing an easy visit to this fabulous small town! The hosts are also very kind and accommodating. I will certainly recommend La Martino to my friends and hope to stay here again if I return to Varese!

Ruime kamer met balkon, aparte badkamer.
1e etage met lift en berging voor de El-fietsen.
Erg rumoerig aan drukke doorgaande straat. Veel verkeer tot diep in de nacht wo. motoren!
Ontbijt was erg karig, koffie was lekker. Dit zijn we niet gewend in Italie.
Bed heeft matras welke lager ligt dan de bed ombouw!!

The host was great. We checked in quite late, and leaving early the next morning at 5.00. We did not expect a breakfast the next morning, but instead of that she prepared a late evening tea with biscuits. Really great. Also the convinience of parking outside was great.
The room was very noisy and we needed to have the windows open because it felt like someone had smoked in the room. I have light astma so closing the windows was no option. We were “lucky” that there was the curfew so not much traffic outside. For the rest, the room was a bit outdated.
