Very pleasant inn. Surrounding rural neighborhood makes for excellent walking and the inn provides walking trail maps. Room excellent and very comfortable despite the hot weather. Excellent dinner and exceptional breakfast. Staff universally pleasant and helpful.
If you aren't using satellite navigation, this inn can be hard to find. It's in Creighton Denham, not in Sherborne town itself. Some signage on the roads wouldn't hurt. No cellphone service at this location, which was not a problem for me but might be for someone else.

It is a stunning hidden gem! We attended a wedding here, but from our arrival until departure we had a wonderful stay.

Liked the location and the food was very good in the restaurant
Breakfast didn't start until 8 am and I was there for work so had to leave earlier. Also the mugs were very dirty in the room and despite mentioning still hadn't sorted on the end night. Also the room was grubby in places and needs a proper clean
