    The Sunday roast beef was exceptional. A rural friendly pub, the room was a bit dated but comfortable. Our pubs need supporting so I was pleased to contribute. Jim the landlord was very welcoming, not something you get in big chains.

    On a two day bike ride with the pub as our overnight stop. Excellent food, room more than adequate and the staff extremely helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

    Our twin ensuite was nice and spacious, nothing fancy but clean and perfectly adequate. We enjoyed a generous continental bkfast, with cereal and toast, cold meats, cheese, fresh fruit and juice. The pub kitchen is closed on Mon nights, so dinner's not available then. There's no other restaurant in the village, but if the village PO shop is open, it has a good range of food... Queen Camel is a gem of a village!
