Lots of parking and were given early access to get ready for a wedding ! Bedrooms were spacious and large comfortable bed with tea and coffee facilities ! Breakfast was amazing !

Lovely little pub just off the A303.

The pub was a very convenient stop off on the way west. The new owners were very friendly and helpful as were the other staff we encountered. Great food. Cute room with comfy beds. Great shower!

Very pleasant. We would stay again

The cooked breakfast was very good. I would have preferred a bigger range of continental breakfast as I don't eat a cooked breakfast. If there were more options I didn't see them or to be fair I didn't ask. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The beds were comfortable for us but that is very subjective. The rooms were very quiet (just a very quiet church bell). We had a good evening meal. There are pleasant walks nearby.

The toilet flushes were a bit erratic which we mentioned and we were told they would get a plumber in but as we only stayed one night I don't know if that was sorted out.

Wonderful welcome and escape

Welcoming friendly hosts. They are a lovely couple putting everything they have into a new dream . They couldn't do enough for us. Just really really lovely people. Dog welcomed and fussed and for free. Even a sausage for the dog at breakfast. Fantastic walks over Hernehill to cute Llminster and through farmland just down the road. We didnt use our car once in 3 days. But Lime Regis is a short drive. The cutest 1812 church that softly chimes the hours. It felt safe, cozy and peaceful. Restaurant food is fabulous, in a buzzy family atmosphere. Separate private entrance to the bar for the b&b so could slip out to walk dog in pjs in the evening. Thatched cottage roofs and organic eggs for sale on doorsteps opposite. Birds chirping at your window Cows mooing in the fields. Historic Beechings railline walks in both directions. Nice clean bedding and proper size bathroom with solid rustic fittings and smellies and plenty of soft white towels provided. Breakfast was amazing. Fruit juice. Coffee/tea, youghurt fruit and granola then full English or masses of perfectly ripe avocado on toast with poached eggs. But actually you could ask for any combination.

I think their media is underselling them and its actually underpriced, but they're only 5 weeks in. I think they could sqeeze a sofa into the lounge bar by the fire. But the restaurant is so successful I understand why they haven't. Id put the desk and tea making facilities into the large walk in cupboard with a small fridge and a bigger TV on a hinge on the wall by the window and then a comfy arm chair in the space where the desk was to create a seating area overlooking the window and church. I think they could make more of local produce like jams, but they're onto that. The room was not massive but its everything you need and spacious enough. You could stay a week happily. The lighting was a bit bright for me, but the lampshades on the bedside tables each side of the bed are lovely solid marble. I'd just put softer light bulbs in.

Симпатичная гостиничка с уютными удобными комнатами. Внизу находится паб-ресторан, очень популярный среди местных жителей, несмотря, что он открылся только в апреле этого года. Это всегда хороший показатель. Столик нужно бронировать заранее. Наш обед был очень вкусный, и мы видели, что нашим соседям приносили очень аппетитно выглядещеи блюда. Что ещё нам очень понравилось, так это то, что буквально за углом находится дорожка для прогулок (бывшая железная дорога), так как мы были с маленькой собачкой, нам это было очень и очень удобно.

Единственный недостаток заключается в том, что это очень маленькая деревенька, и чтобы что-то посмотреть нужно проехать в городок побольше 😁
