Great place to stay in Spa

We loved the food, it was great quality.

There's no specific reception area so the space is quite tight while checking in.

Ideal for visiting Spa

Easy parking overnight on the street . Situated in the Centre of Spa and very easy to walk around the town. Room was very clean and modern. Nespresso machine available in the room and shower modern and spacious .

The room for three. They had a sofa bed which was very good in the livingroom kind of part. The problem is that the bedroom did not had a door to upgrade the privacy. If it had a door then the room would have been worth an 8.

Great location, but room lacks A/C

- Location of hotel is great, right in the city centre - Rooms are spacious - Bathroom is big and newly renovated - Staff was nice

- Breakfast selection is quite limited, you won't starve but don't expect much either - No A/C in the room, only a basic fan. This is just below par, every hotel should have at least an A/C in the room, especially considering the price

Nice hotel except for the summer

The room is very nice, functional and clean

It’s missing air conditioning and as the room is facing south-east it hit since early morning from the sun making the temperature of the room far too hot in summer. The ventilator in the room is it enough to mitigate

Miserable. I was polite, but expressing a desire to be clear of cigarette smoke made me a pariah.

The room was quite acceptable and the location was great. However, being treated like I was dog droppings attached to a shoe made the whole experience miserable.

I was treated like a second class citizen by the waiter at the restaurant. I asked that if people started smoking, could I move inside. "No! Once you sit down you cannot move", he responded. From then on there was no eye contact. Things were placed on my table as a mere passing and he walked away without comment. I don't speak French, but I noticed that the waiter smoozed with all those who did speak French. I may as well have been a despised refugee, albeit one who was paying the same as everyone else.

Our favorite in Spa

Fantastic location in the centre of Spa. Rooms renovated and modern, and good size. Comfortable bed, good shower. Very nice friendly helpful staff. We’ve stayed here before and would again.

No air conditioning in the rooms (although fan provided). Only one power outlet in the bedroom.

Pay attention when reserving the room.

The bathroom was modern. Really clean room. Location is perfect.

They charge 30€ more for the room that in theory has the big double bed. We arrived to the room and find out that it is not such, they are two single beds put together, I could have save 30€ chosing the room with individual beds. The entrance to the hotel is through the restaurant, pretty uncomfortable during peak hours.

Atomosphere at the restaurant, delicious breakfast, location

Wifi's bandwidth was too small. We couldn't stream Netflix. There was only one outlet by the bed. Ideally, there should be one outlet each bed side. But there are two more outlets in the entrance and one more in the bathroom so it wasn't a big problem.

Comfort & Location in downtown Spa

This is our third time staying at Hotel l'Auberge. We love the location in the heart of Spa & have also enjoyed eating at the restaurant on several occasions (it was not open the night we stayed this trip). The hotel also offers a plentiful breakfast. The rooms are a good size & the shower is great - bed very comfortable & additional pillows were available.

We stayed on a very hot night & required the windows to be open as there is no air conditioning. The noise from the street below was very loud until well into the middle of the night, as was the traffic noise from the main road. This is of course not the fault of the hotel & it would not stop us from returning again - but is good to be aware of.

cosy but uncomfortable

the location is excellent, in the center surrounded by restaurants and boutiques. Hotel’s restaurant used to be a Michelin! Breakfast was very good and fresh despite being simple. The Nespresso machine in the room was a pleasant addition. The room was spacious enough and the bathroom was nice and modern.

The bed and pillows very uncomfortable; there is no airco so it was very hot and we couldn’t sleep the whole night although there was a fan to use but it was making lots of noise so we had to turn it off in order to sleep. The rooms are facing the big square and hence till midnight you’ll hear lots of noise. The room was full of dust overall (on the floor, by the window, telefoon, …).

Small, stuffy bedroom w/1 small east street facing window. No AC but a fan, on a timer, with short cord and only 1 outlet for entire room.
