One bedroom apartment with great location and service

I originally booked expecting a traditional Airbnb apartment, but it turned out to be a boutique hotel with full service — and it was a great surprise. The building is a beautifully remodeled old palace. Our unit was two stories: a spacious living room and kitchen on the lower level, and a bedroom plus sofa bed on the upper level. It comfortably fits four people. The staff were extremely helpful. At check-in, they gave us a full orientation of the city and recommended some excellent restaurants. The location is fantastic — close to Ponte Santa Trinita and within easy walking distance to almost everything. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and I would definitely recommend it. Also the place has fully equipped kitchen, we did not use it except the espresso machine. There are so many good restaurants around.

Perfect location in great palace

Very nice staff, nice room, comfortable including the bathroom. Breakfast is great, many options to choose from.

For a suite having the second bed as an uncomfortable couch is not a good option. Need to upgrade that, if retaining it as a suite booking option.

Awesome

We loved this place. We were looking for something cozy to spend Christmas, and the apartment was everything we needed. The bed and couch were comfortable, and the shower was great. We had a wonderful time. Thanks to all the staff!

We loved our stay at Palazzo Ridolfi. Fabulous location, very close to all of the main places of interest and also numerous bars and restaurants within 5-10 minutes walk. Felt comfortable and safe walking in the area at night. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, offering help with restaurant and taxi bookings and general information. They also communicated well in advance of our visit. A beautiful historic building and room very attractive and comfortable. A very small hotel, which we liked.

No guest lounge/ sitting room, which we had wrongly assumed would be available, but this wouldn’t put us off returning as everything else was great (and there were comfortable chairs in our room).

Classy, Convenient and Courteous

Stunning, spacious and exquisitely located apartments. Our room was large and clean, it had all the expected amenities (large wardrobe, safe, kettle, TV, WiFi, hairdryer, etc) plus the bathroom was lovely, bright and spacious. Everything felt well thought out and was of high quality. The staff are on hand for your needs and the building is just simply gorgeous. Centrally located for everything you need to see in Florence, you can walk everywhere in mere minutes. Plenty of eating options on hand around Santo Spirito area and the Ponte Vecchio Is only a five minute walk away. Take half an hour one morning to walk down Via Maggio out of the city to check out the old medieval city gate. It's fantastic.

Avoid driving if possible and get a taxi to the entrance. We drove into the city from elsewhere and it's nigh impossible to park outside without blocking some traffic. Taxis do mount the pavement so that's an option to drop bags off and seek parking. ZTL isn't active on Sundays which helped us but otherwise you need to pay in advance to avoid fines. The streets of Firenze are not great for rolling suitcases along, there are a lot of people and narrow uneven pavements (it's an authentically old city).

Perfect ! Lovely clean and cosy property.

It was just perfect- the hosts are excellent. You feel your stay really matters to them and you enjoy it. I can’t speak highly enough, they were amazing…..even bringing my luggage to my car. Just brilliant. The property is lovely and the annex was superb - a home from home.

Breakfast wasn’t included is my only criticism and €15 each was a bit steep.

My favourite place to stay in Firenze

It’s a beautiful location close to the ponte vecchio and it’s very quiet. I love the room and the staff and my favourite part is how you enter the building through the elevator.

Location is perfect, close to tourist areas and restaurants. Accessibility is good too, easy for taxis. Entrance late at night is a bit unique as it’s an old building. Good thing they have an elevator as the hotel is in the 2nd floor.

A “Medici” moment - stunning place with large rooms in the heart of Santo Spirito.

The location is superb , based in the Santo Spirito area . The property is in a stunning villa and the rooms were well appointed.

Loved the property but some may wish for a bar or restaurant on site , however you’re surrounded by fabulous places . It is an ancient building and a very small elevator based on that .

Amazing! Coming back!!

I kind of don’t want to tell people about it as it’s a hidden gem of a place. Beautifully decorated, it has everything you need to cook basic meals, lovely living area and bedroom with stunning views across the city. The staff couldn’t be more helpful either

It’s not that we didn’t like it, more of a be aware that if you have limited mobility, there are a lot of stairs here. There’s a lift to the main floor but then there are a lot of stairs still into the apartment

Peaceful and elegant accommodation in fabulous location

Grand apartment in a perfect location to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere south of the river. We felt privileged to be invited in to the inner sanctum of a calm historical courtyard where we found our extremely comfortable and well equipped ground floor accommodation. Our night was peaceful with no noise whatsoever - a rare thing in the middle of Florence! The staff were so welcoming and helpful and we will definitely be coming back for more.

There was a slight problem with a leaking sink but nothing that affected the enjoyment of our short stay and I am confident that it would have been fixed as soon as we reported it.

Elegant Place, wonderful service.

I arrived early and the receptionist Francesca was extremely helpful, stored my bags, arranged a taxi for the next morning, offered restaurant recs, and the room was sublime. Quiet, great bed, wonderful details- bedding, and architecture. Feel lucky to have stayed there!
