A really delightful and comfortable property.

The property was of the highest quality with every comfort thought of and supplied. Simply couldn’t fault the kitchen equipment, bedding, books, dvds, plus a great shower.

There was nothing to dislike about the property itself but it is in a very secluded location with nowhere to walk to directly from the front door. A car is essential.

A highlight of our holiday!

We felt right at home as soon as we walked through the door! Maple barn was cosy and comfortable. The scones, jam, and cream welcome pack was just what we needed after a long drive. Pam and John were fabulous hosts who couldn’t have been more helpful.

It was the relaxing break me and my partner needed. Home away from home

It was so calm relaxing and quiet. You could walk around the property all day with beautiful scenery and wildlife. It had everything inside that we could have needed which was a lovely surprise. The bed was so comfortable and there was Prosecco and homemade scones which were amazing. Can not thank the owners anymore. Will definitely be back with our dog next time.

The cleanliness of the property and the thought that went into everything that was provided and the touch of having prosecco and a cream tea on arrival. We felt comfortable to email Pam if we had a questions over the period we stayed. Location was peaceful and attractive. It was central to the many places we visited.

Beautiful place where you feel at home.

Pam & John were fantastic! The rental company cancelled our booking and we had no car upon arrival. Pam & John came to the railway station to meet us and give a ride to the property. Next morning they drive with us to the rentals. We are so impressed and so grateful! The Maple Barn is a fantastic place. So beautiful and very functional. Everything is well thought out, taken care of (welcome drink and local pastry). We enjoyed every moment of our stay! Thank you so much!

As fantastic as we remembered it

Stunning location, clean, quiet accommodation, free off-road parking. Warm welcome from Pam as we arrived & a friendly goodbye as we left. Prosecco, cream tea & chocolates were all welcome additions. We used to stay here with the previous owners & it didn't disappoint. We'll be back soon!

Good facilities, good layout, close enough to main roads but totally silent. Pam and John were great to chat to.

Personal critique, the bed was lovely and huge but mattress is very soft. This is personal, as my wife loved the soft mattress, I prefer a bed mattress so this did impact my sleep. Again, this is personal so not a negative for everyone.

Fantastic stay in Cornwall

The cottage was the perfect size for a couple and a dog and the host was really great leaving us local scones and cream with a few little treats as well. The bed was perfect, the kitchen immaculate with all utilities needed and the location was perfect for dog walks and close enough to drive to either coast or the city in less than 20 minutes. All round a perfect stay and will definitely be looking to stay again when we visit Cornwall again.

Pam greeted me, showed me what was where. The barn was spotlessly clean, and homely. In a gorgeous location. The kitchen is very well equiped, all needs are catered for. I loved it there!

Sally was absolutely brilliant and the photos don't do the place justice. Maple & beech barns is stunning and there is everything you need in the accommodation. Sally was there to greet us when we arrived and also had milk, coffee, tea,home made scones and lots of other things there for us which was a lovely touch. Would not hesitate to go there again as its the best place we've been to in Cornwall.

The location was lovely and peaceful. The property was beautiful, clean and well presented. The scones and jam on arrival was a lovely touch. There was even a treat for my dog that I took home as I didn’t bring him with me in the end.

The Wi-Fi wasn’t great which wouldn’t ordinarily be an issue but I was restricted when I needed to do a bit of work. It would be great to have a smart tv to access Netflix etc. but ordinarily I wouldn’t spend an awful lot of time watching tv when staying away from home.
