A perfect Cornish retreat

We loved everything about this property. The location was perfect. Located on a typical Cornish country road yet a stones throw away from the A30. Property was immaculate and very well stocked with everything you could possibly need for a weeks stay. Garden was very well kept and a pleasure to sit in. Hosts were right next door should you need anything and were very friendly the few times we seen them. A lot of these reviews are negative about the wifi not being great but we had no issues at all and to be honest we didnt book to mess on with phones/TV etc we were looking to chill. Cant go without mentioning the scones. Home made scones were left upon our arrival and they were hands down the nicest scones we ever had. Would recommend this place to anyone and we would definitely stay again.

Great… very pretty little cottage with all mid cons and gorgeous little garden!

Beautiful… everything thought about, including dog towel 🥰 Fantastic hosts too.

Bed mattress was very hard but we did still sleep okay. Would have really enjoyed a large pouffe too to settle down and watch a film with legs up. Weather was full on rain so we could t really enjoy the pretty garden and outside furniture so we were inside all the time. The view outside though was very pretty! Car parking was very tight for a large car.

A gem of a cottage and location for a completely relaxing and peaceful stay.

Absolutely everything. The cottage was delightful with everything you needed to facilitate your stay. The peace, privacy and tranquillity of the cottage and the garden was fantastic.

The hosts, Janet & lLuc were lovely and made us feel very welcome.. Beautiful location and we were fortunate that the weather was absolutely fabulous during our stay. The barn was tastefully decorated and the garden was a bonus.

Perfect for us!

Wonderful rural setting with walks nearby for us and our dog. Dog very well-catered for (biscuits and dog towel provided on arrival). Despite the extreme temperatures we managed to stay warm thanks to the generosity of the hosts. Would definitely return again!

Well what can I say!! Gorgeous cottage very tastefully furnished and decorated.beautiful garden.the host thought of everything a personalized card and scones and jam on arrival lovely touch.and treats and a towel for the dog.everything there for you just had to buy food.lovely thoughtful hosts and perfect base for visiting other parts of Cornwall.

Quite a rural area and WI Fi not good unfortunately. Would hv liked a t.v in bedroom as I was unable to watch on my laptop due to not being able to get good wifi connection.

Excellence on a budget

We could not fault any aspect of our stay. The owners provided for every need from washing up liquid through to an unopened packet of filter coffee. But, the highlight after a long journey down was to be greeted with a fresh scone, cream and jam topped by a beautiful greeting card. Wow, top that!

July Cornwall holiday

The cottage was delightful, just right for two!! It was quiet for the most part and the garden was lovely. We also found we could cook for ourselves which was a great feature!!

Being woken at 5-30/45 by farmers tractors or the wood pigeons! The very narrow road leading to the cottage!

Fantastic base for touring. Quiet location. Clean and nicely decorated with a well equipped kitchen. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming and the cream tea on arrival was much appreciated.

Great location and amazing cottage

The cottage was located in a great place to be able to explore all of Cornwall- the images on here don't do it justice, the place is amazing.

Cant really fault anything about this place -if i was to bring anything up it would be parking -however our audi a3 did fit and was not damaged in anyway- may struggle with a big car.

They've set the bar high

I loved everything about this little holiday lodge! The barn was truly beautiful the garden was beautiful and perfectly maintained, the quality of the bedding to the interior design and furnishings was excellent and the homemade scones and clotted cream and jam as well as the milk , tea and fresh coffee made this long weekend away perfect. It rained heavily on Saturday so instead of sight seeing we went back to the barn for the afternoon and had lunch there, it's such a stunning setting that it was just nice to chill and enjoy the place and the views. Janet and Luc were lovely and very welcoming , it was nice to meet them and stay in their 'home from home' .

Coming home and back to real life... :)

Cosy quite cottage making for a tranquil break.

Lovely quiet cottage set within its own enclosed garden and within easy reach of a several local eateries. The cottage facilities and decor was excellent making our stay very relaxing. The log burner was a life saver during the evening.
