The swimming pool is excellent for a B&B - large with loungers and chairs on the surrounding patio. There is a big garden with play equipment for children and, although the property is in a commercial part of the town, it is right on the edge and feels as if it is in the country. The guest kitchen was a bonus for us, as we were able to use the fridge and freezing compartment and had one meal outside on the patio. We were also able to boil a kettle and fill our flask ready for our onward journey. The attractive part of the town is easily accessible on foot and there are various dining opportunities there. There is also a railway station, but with a rather limited timetable. The owner has two dogs, which could be a plus or a minus point for guests. They did not disturb us at all.

There was a mix up with our room, so we had to change rooms part way through. The owner was apologetic and the move was smooth, but not what we had been expecting. Breakfast was good, but a little limited.

L'accueil mitigé du propriétaire quand nous sommes arrivés avec notre chien alors que les animaux son acceptés. Heureusement notre golden retriever est parfaitement éduquée et s'est bien entendue avec le chien du propriétaire.
