A lovely, newly refurbished room although the en-suite was a bit small. Best hotel breakfast we’ve had on our trip as it included vegan options and was all nicely cooked.

We stayed in a newly refurbished room and it was absolutely fantastic. The room was modern, clean, and very comfortable, with an amazing view that really made the stay special. Great value for money too — very reasonably priced for the quality. We also had food in the restaurant and it was delicious, with good portions and friendly service. Overall, a lovely experience and I would definitely come back

Our room was very large with plenty of space. Bathroom was also a good size. Room was clean and well looked after. Had a fantastic view across Loch Gairloch. Would recommend.

The hotel is in an ideal location, which was the main highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, the overall experience didn’t match the setting.
During our visit, the first and second floors were undergoing cabinetry renovations, which likely explains why we were placed in an attic room on the third floor. The room itself felt very dated and basic, with some furniture broken and the bathroom extraction fan not working. The beds were also quite uncomfortable, making it difficult to rest properly.
There was ongoing disruption from the renovation work, particularly with tradespeople frequently using the lift to move materials and furniture, which meant we couldn’t use it at check-in or check-out.
It may have been unfortunate timing, but the stay felt more like stepping back 50 years than a comfortable hotel experience. Overall, despite the great location, it was not a particularly pleasant stay.
